Just heard back from Sharks Membership and all is OK. It was a bit misleading - their original email said this:

"Unfortunately, this email is to advise you that we were unable to facilitate your seating request for the 2024 Season. Limited reserved seats remain for next season, so if you wish to explore these options, please give us a call on 1300 742 757."

Now, I took this to be my renewed seats, but I have now been told that this email was sent to me because I had made a request for an extra seat alongside of us for my mother-in-law and they could not facilitate that. It went on to say this:

"As per our previous correspondence via emails and phone calls, we have successfully renewed your current 3 ET Upper Memberships for yourself, Leonie and Andrew on October 23rd."

So, thank goodness all's well that ends well and there is no chance now @HaroldBishop that @sharks2010 or @djhabib will be sitting in my seats!!

Does anyone at least agree with me that the first line of the email was misleading?

Now that’s definitely a win mate.

You get your 3 preferred seats and still don’t have to sit next to the mother-in-law but get the kudos for trying to get her a season ticket.

It looks like nearly all seats already sold out except a couple of bays in north east corner, some restricted view (Row A) seats and a few other scattered seats. So I guess they got the pricing right… as long as we keep having winning seasons

Can someone please ask the club wtf does our media team do? It’s embarrassing that it’s the start of the pre season and there is **** all going around for our club.

WE DONT KNOW!
haha good answer.

Seriously though its 5mths before r1. No news is good news ATM because there's probably only injuries worth mentioning. Any "X is training the house down" fluff isn't even ready yet.

Settle down. It’s mid November plenty of time for off season fluff to come. The media guy might be on a holiday or something.

Yeah , settle down they are very busy .

Very busy trying to prepare the fluffy pesentations for the member update next week on the development delays & trying to prepare the "right" answers for any questions they think members may ask . So no worries , all good .

Random question - does any membership allow you to go to the meet and greets? Thinking of getting my step kids the basic membership which I think is like $35-$40. Due to Melbourne getting 1 game thought I would just get them that each but would like them to meet some of the players.

They didn't check at the last one I went to, who your probably don't need one at all! But we had the basic membership and could register

Didn’t check at one here either, but was on an open field space inside a school grounds.
Might check if it was entry into a stadium grounds just because checkpoints are easier

So I've received a reminder to pick what items I want for my 2024 membership pack - doesn't mention a $ value...

Is it the same as last year - $40?

Scrub that, one more click and I had the answer - $40 credit.
