How much do you pocket on the buy back? I'd almost look at getting a couple of tickets and selling them back for a good chunk of games if it were feasible. Though you probably won't have as many issues getting decent tickets now the members can make them available.

Also wondering... if you bought a junior ticket and it resold to an adult, would you get the cut of the adult ticket or the original junior priced ticket?

Given the number of sell outs and limited capacity they probably feel pretty comfortable that they’ll be able to easily backfill any cancellations.

And with the limited capacity can’t blame them for covering any earnings lossed.
True for now, we won't get any sellouts when capacity goes back to 18,000 though.

Probably best not to alienate fans.

GA Membership is such poor value.

$20 plus per game. (Lets also assume theyll sell a home game to Magic round again plus play a game at ****n Coffs where you cant even see the field)

Better off just taking your chances and buying tickets to the games you will make it to

Thats it
Last year it was $350 for an adult in lower peter burns
I had 2 adult memberships + 1 child - cost me $704
So the child was effectively free.

This year theyve bamged it right up
$875 for the 3 memberships
Are the club fkin retarded increasing prices when people are struggling to afford the basics.

You think increased prices arent due to increases in game day operations? You want the club to operate at a loss??

Exactly, every thing is costing more. They’re not going to absorb it.
Theyre a multi million dollar organisation who are passing on the rises to the gen pop.
I think they should have absorbed it yeah, knowing that people are struggling with cost of living expenses rising.
I can no longer justify being a member.
They want 25% more, but the service we recieve (and the team) isnt 25% better
I think theyll lose a fair few as well as myself

Yeah I think 25% increase for family tickets is too much. It feels like they want to push the families out of the stands in order to sell Adult tickets. It’s understandable when they are about 60% of an Adult ticket, it just feels a bit short sighted to me.

We’re finally at a point where we can get all of the grandstands full and basically auto renewing. There is not that much to get excited about for next year. It’s still worth it to me, and I’ll keep going, but I know some of my mates will think twice

Agree with others - I can no longer afford to go to the football - and there are so many people worse off than me .

I guess we should be venting to the government rather than a footy club though - but there are no repercussions for the government and it’s the businesses that lose the customers ..

Surely everyone can downgrade to a Sharks Net rather than not renewing at all?

You won't have your seat and other perks, but you'll still be supporting the club and retaining your membership

How is it the government's fault?

They’ve gotta be more to blame that an extra $170 is an unaffordable amount for a family than the sharks do?

I’d guess plenty of organisations are robbing you a lot blinder than the sharks are. Most of these cost of living increases are coinciding with pretty massive company profits still

We seem to have no issues getting sponsors lately *touch wood*

Wouldn't hurt to get a membership sponsor, take the edge off some of those prices

lol so you want them to absorb this and so a club not known for being rich is even poorer. That’s going to really help things.
