To be in a position to be minor premiers is something I thought not possible a few weeks ago.

Bird needs a sit down with dr phil. Where is he? Its messing val holmes up as well.

Fifita can turn it up a gear as well.

Good to see barba, chad, and bukuya back in form

Think its been mentioned before but Chad isnt playing well either. Bird isnt getting any early ball and what ball he is getting is poor quality and\or he is making a mess of it himself.
Hardly noticed Val out there at all. He needs to come back in early in the sets like he used to and make a few runs just to get his hand on the ball and remind
everyone that he is still out there. Next to Barba he is our best attacking weapon.

Never thought I'd be so happy to see us beat 14th place with two rounds to go when we are 2nd. Was is in disbelief at 12-0 but it was like a flick was switched and we turned it around. That second half was really impressive. Not letting the Roosters in again was a good sign.

That's one thing I noticed about CT last night. Even though his attacking game is down a peg or two, he made sure several times he wasn't going to let Connor Watson through like he did last time against the Roosters. Aside from the try Chad was on him all the time.

he gets targeted in defence but really held his own and helped our d immensely over that side of the field.

can't believe prior ran for 170. thats gotta be one of his highest run metres per game right? ran further than fifi

CT has to get used to the fact he's going to get targeted. If i was the opposition id be running at Maloney, he misses more tackles then anyone and is our cheif play maker

Did anyone else see the fights break out on the Hogs Breath Hill last night? Seemed to happen within the last 10 minutes or so. Normally, I see one person ejected every couple of games or so but last night was another level. I guess winning does bring out all of the casuals. Real shame to see to be honest. Surprised at the crowd figure as well because I could hardly move on the hill. I'd hate to see the ground at capacity.

Not quite sure on the criticism of Val? I thought he came looking for the ball when he needed to, especially coming out of our own end. Given his lack of size you have to admire how bloody hard he hits the defensive line.
