Thought we looked gone at 12-0 but to score 37 unanswered points after that was awesome. Still don't think we can beat the storm but we should give it a red hot go. Hopefully we can go down to the wire. Wouldn't mind playing Canberra without Austin and seizer even if it's in Canberra

there's no reason we can't beat the storm down there

Tonight was about getting back on track and building the confidence. Thought we did both of these well tonight

Storm will be on their best next weekend. We also have never won at AAMIparj. Not saying we can't win but it's an uphill battle that's for sure. The boys will be up for it though

Jeez Bird has had a shocker of a month. Hopefully pulls out the finger before the finals.

Best thing about that game is the forwards dominated even without Fifita being on the field. He only played 40 mins. Bukuya was outstanding as well.

Melbourne's form is hardly convincing, losses to Brisbane and Canberra and a referee inspired win over Souths.

Teams have moved them around, unsettling their robotic style.

We can win, however having said that, the 2 v 3 side of the draw is looking more favourable.

What was the deal with the Taukeiaho walking so far? I would not want one of our blokes to have to do that. (Also feel sorry for the dude, he's probably my favorite player at the moment).

Just got home and haven't read the rest of this thread but if Bird had been responsible for giving oxygen to Holmes tonight then Val would have died from hypoxia.
Not so sure it is all Bird, l think other sides have realised that Chad will run the ball if he can't set something up and they are obliging with there defence coming up on Bird & Holmes quickly. Maybe a grubber or double pump like we saw in Vals try is needed more often.

Favourite part of the night was when Born and Bred kicked Gards right in the nuts.

Cant believe we won, people were saying, season done & dusted after last week, wouldn't win another game.................
yep I will put my hand up for being one of those people but will take that win for sure.......but we do need to step up a couple of gears for the storm game.................any injuries or sightings been mentioned. Im thinking wade coming off was precautionary and jimmy seemed to be ok after copping a flogging

I was shaking my head at that - those trainers made such an incompetent call with the option they took. They should be sacked for doing what they did.

Has the medi cab been banned from our home ground after running over Heighington's kid?

After a trainer told the ref to stop the game last week because his player got cramp I have little respect for the trainers atm. Most of the time they are glorified messenger boys for the coach, and a ref had to stop play a couple of weeks ago because one got in the way of a tap that was about to be played.
