Not quite sure on the criticism of Val? I thought he came looking for the ball when he needed to, especially coming out of our own end. Given his lack of size you have to admire how bloody hard he hits the defensive line.

Yeah - I think his involvement has been good for the last 3 weeks. He can't be scoring 60m tries every week, but he is definitely coming into the middle looking for work - which is all you can ask for.

What was the deal with the Taukeiaho walking so far? I would not want one of our blokes to have to do that. (Also feel sorry for the dude, he's probably my favorite player at the moment).

after doing your acl, walking in a straight line is fine

go back to 2010 when terry campesie did it in the semi against the tigers and he walked out of the change room and took the bench

ive done it a few times, without dislocation once the initial pain is gone, walking isn't that much of an issue

Fair to say that it's pretty common that if you've popped your ACL you've often done your MCL and medial meniscus at the same time - it used to be called a blown knee.

It is a bit unfair. Beale, Val and Bird and even Barba are all coming in for heavy criticism, however considering we haven't been going forward I don't know what people expect from them.

i agree the thing i noticed was the meters that opposing teams made up the middle, even the roosters did it in the first 20 mins then a flick was was switched!!!

Well as of yesterday it hadn't even sunk in that we ended up beating the Roosters by a strong margin (maybe was getting used to some losses dunno). Pretty amazing after the last month of crap that we are back to challenging for the minor premiership this weekend and outright 1st (while holding off the raiders). Quite an intriguing season with various teams finding form.

We started poorly and didn't offer much but once we found some try's off some fortuitous and fluky bonces/deflections we put the foot down and didn't give anything to the Roosters. Their defense turned pretty soft close the their line I thought but the grubbers we put in were well executed and that had them second guessing themselves when we run the ball.

It wasn't all that pretty and there's still lots of work to do but Flanno and the boys needed to get the win with the pressure on and they delivered. Well done. The butt hurt over at the Chook Pen is hilarious, alot of them blaming the refs and calling NRL conspiracy for minor premiership showdown ect. LOL @ them, still can't beat us.

Hahaha, tongue twisters happen like that sometimes. After you pointed it out, I went back to the post and read it over and over again and it still sounded right in my head.
