Wow. Much much better.

The first half was a struggle and the Roosters really took it up to us getting off their line. The first two tries we let in via an Ennis miss and the jump on Feki were a bit worrying and we struggled in attack. However, the grubbers in behind them payed dividends until we were were ahead by ten minutes or so in the second half. After this the Roosters ran out of steam and the boys really started to look the goods in attack for the first time since the streak. And, great to see Holmes get a try.

The Roosters were poor after the first twenty minutes, but I thought we did everything to play ourselves back into form. Bring on the Storm!

I'm happy with that!

We looked shaky early, defence was soft and attack still not gelling.

But I reckon Maloney's field goal might have given us the pump we needed.
2nd half was so much better and keeping them to nil was very pleasing.

Gal was immense tonight. Even early on his carries were great, he made metres and got some good offloads away. His try was one of pure strength.

I didn't give Boogs any points tonight but I thought he had a great game. Made some good runs and breaks and got a nice try.

We're by no means back to our best but at least we go to Melbourne next week with some confidence.

It bugs me a little though that if we had just beaten the Dragons and the Rabbits we'd be minor premiers right now.

Did you decide on coming down next week?

I thought Jace and hino did a great job adding impact when they came on off the bench. Jsl ready didn't add much when he came on though

Beale was better tonight as well I thought, birdy seems real down on energy, must have a niggle or just a long season on a young body.

I am absolute ecstatic. The Roosters were ordinary, but that's what we needed, a huge confidence boost. Gal was immense. The difference he makes to our pack was on display tonight. Micky Ennis at his best as well, Nu Brown should not leave his side over the next few weeks and soak up as much information as possible for next season. How delightful was it to see Fergie the grub have a shocker. Just wanted to piss bolt onto the field after the game and laugh right in his smug turd face. I also hope someone throws a rock at Napa on his way out of the stadium tonight after that dog shot he gave Maloney at the end there. Believe it or not I think Prior's try was the turning point, we lifted 3 gears after that and brought the fire and brimstone in defence.

Huge swing in the second half. Not sure where it came from, but someone was smart enough to recognise that the chooks were coming up fast in defense and changed or gameplan to suit. More inside balls and general play around the middle... really smart change of tactics that got us back on the front foot.

Gal was awesome. Feki unbelievable... What a difference he makes. Chad looked like the guy we'd come to know and love during our winning streak. And all our forwards were great.

People were saying that this was our grand final. If that's true, then we're in with a chance.

They are too big to do that without running out of juice IMO. We relied on grubbers until they got tired and our attack was free flowing again with 30 to go. We handled them well.

I would like to see Ricky in there for Beale. Capewell for Paulo and someone to put a rocket up Bird. Coming together at the right time. Beat the Storm by 16.
