Monaco tomorrow.
Love that track.
Would tire of it quickly if every race was on a track like that but it's great once a year.
I especially enjoy the chaos when its raining there. It's the worst track on the calendar by far for racing. It's a qualifying track cause there is no over taking made even harder by how wide the modern cars are.
It remains on the schedule for historic and $$$ reasons
I'm glad it's still there though, still quite the spectacle seeing those drivers showcase their skill and courage doing insane speeds cm's from barriers and there's usually some drama. It's a more interesting event than some of the generic modern circuits so it breaks up the monotony
But yea whoever gets pole, well you have to hope they have a mechanical failure, botch a pitstop/strategy or crash out to beat them. Rain would make things interesting for sure.
When you think about it it's actually kinda remarkable in this day and age of OHS that they still let them race there though the safety tech in cars and barriers has come a long way from where it once was (thankfully)
Old school circuits is where it's at IMO - Spa, Silverstone, Suzuka ect. They arn't a guarantee of an exciting race but they are just brilliant tracks.

He killed it. What a win.Any one following SVG having a go at NASCAR tomorrow morning??
After only have one practice session in his car - the rest in a simulator, he managed to top practice and is P3 for tomorrows race.
**** yeah my Redbull!! He sure did. Now they're talking about Whincup letting him go next year, instead of 2025, if Gizzy asks. I'm not ready...He killed it. What a win.
Daniel Riccardo might have a way back into an F1 drive this year. AlphaTauri (Red Bull sister team) are on the verge of sacking driver Nyck DeVries for underperforming. Daniel Riccardo, who is currently Red Bull’s test driver and reserve driver looks set to take the spot.
Now he needs to perform cause that red bull seat is ripe for the picking
Reports from that test yesterday had him at times that would have put him on the front rowWhen Danny did his first test for Red Bull this year, apparently Christian Horner did not even recognise his driving, he thinks Danny had picked up a bunch of bad habits at McClaren, once he started ironing those out, his times dramatically improved. I think we’ll see a better driver, but unfortunately the car he’ll be in wont be competitive. Its just great to see him back though.
