I don't think slater should be an immortal, his attitude is smug and arrogant, therefore not worthy of an immortal.

I don't know, I used to have an intense dislike for Slater but I think the past couple years he has really matured. He holds himself up really well in interviews, and seems quite humble for someone who practically has the rugby league world at his feet.

Mayby ET could get a run as an Immortal, he acheived everything in the game, and not only that was squeaky clean during his playing days,
How come he has not been mentioned?

There is a difference between great players and Immortals. All players mentioned are great players, but not necessarily immortals.

The only thing I think about Immortals is that they are guys that have long since retired yet have a lasting legacy that would continue on whether they got the recognition or not.

That's why I think their off field reputation is important too.

Either way we won't know who will be an immortal for at least another decade now.

Without googling it I would say Lewis, Beetson, Churchill, Gasiner.

I know there is more but can't think of them.

In September 2003, I designed and managed the Limited Edition release of "The Magnificent Seven" range of memorabilia on behalf of
Immortals Of League and Men Of League.

I can assure you that, regardless of whether the term "Immortal" means much or is trivialised by some members of the fanbase, it is an honour eagerly fought for by players at the highest level.

I would love Peach to be our next immortal.
