You know you have those moments when you’ve given an opinion and everyone tells you to pull your head in.

I tell you the moment you’re vindicated is sweet.

Franklin Pele a loooooonnnnnnggggggg way off first grade.

No point in judging him after a few more games, can’t see how he’d improve his defence that quickly.
Agree best we cool our jets, let’s meet in here same time next season see where he is at.

Was always gunna be lucky to get an NRL game this season. Good chance he doesn't really crack the NRL for a couple years.
Even look at big Royce, 25 last year and other than that played just one game (3 years earlier). Hopefully big Pele gets it together a little quicker.
Pretty clear what he needs to work on if he wants to make it I think, hopefully Bomber & the crew stay on top of him working on it

Yeah i saw, 95 kg, not even a prop in u17s. But yeah, maybe a chance in other spot.

Hasn't been able to train professionally for two years (presumably) and still put that together. NRL program would get some more kgs on him easy enough. Could see him playing a role in 13 (where he used to play in NYC) if he can build on that effort

Egg said Franklin was great.
I said no he’s not
Egg said yes he is
And I said so what evidence have you got?
He said he’s big and strong
Yes I can see that’s true
But can he defend when the heat is on?
Nope he hasn’t got a clue.

Physically he's a big unit, but he's still just a big boy who hasn't yet developed the hardness that maturity will bring.

Twelve months with Newtown will do him the world of good.

We'll see ,
Taumalolo 2.0 mark my words
He's faster than our hooker , young AND mobile .
As I said , just got to be defensively sound and he'll be fantastic .
But granted , unproven in top grade as of yet .
IF he gets snavelled up by the team I am not allowed to talk about , I'll be devastated .
Whilst we're conservatively stuffing around playing wait and see .

I did say he needs to be defensively sound, as above .
You've written him off Chad on one games effort after a presenting break.
I haven't , as the space around him was humongous and he will be drilled on lateral movement.
Enjoy you time in the sun and we can BOTH can revisit this page in 12 months time .
Humble Pie time.
Maybe a Sharks Forum Poll
Do you feel he will eventually be a first grade weapon.
Me - YES

There once was a man called Egg,
We hung on the words that he said.
He picked a Big One,he picked a strong one,
But will he be good in the Long Run.?
