Probably in here saying he had a good game because criticism of past performance doesn’t negate that he’s had some worse performances previously

He was fantastic tonight, at both ends of the park. Diffused two tough kicks behind the line when we held them out for multiple sets at 10-0. Hope he keeps playing with that confidence!

Great game by the OWB. Kept things simple, kicked the corners, was patient, stayed within the structure, and didn’t try to overplay his hand. He was the perfect compliment to Moylan.
If Trindall is ever going to be a full time NRL player, this is the role for him. Playing in the right side of the field, just doing his own job, with the bloke on the left running the show.
I’m happy for him that this performance came against the Storm - since that organisation gave up on him 5 years ago.

That was good, he had a few runs which is great but we’ve at times seen him play either very selfish or like he needs a big moment.
Often for the seven simple and smart is better.

Looks like the coaching staff might've known what they were doing and had this **** primed & ready exactly when needed.
He's been improving even in his bench role.
Self belief and realising that he just needs to play his role.

I think his last couple of cameos he has got the idea a bit more.

100%. And he grabbed this opportunity and played very very well.
A few more conversions would have been nice but his goal line D (closing down those 2 grubbers) and his kicking in general play was great.

Two years ago people were saying he'll be gone if we don't start him then. He's still here.
He played a pretty good game while we were dominant, he has played a few other pretty good games. He was outplayed by Moylan last night (imo) so should we really not keep Moylan on a good price for Trindall? I don't think he has been that good.
I don't see a Storm or a Roosters picking him up to start anytime soon, if he wants to leave for an opportunity at a pleb club anytime soon so be it.
