Great game and did exactly what he needed to do.

Deserves $550k from the Warriors or the like.

Credit where credits due again.
After last nights game
If we lost Kennedy through injury .
I wouldn't be unhappy if Nicho went to fullback and Trindall started .
Although Miller to fullback instead a WINNER for now .

Great game by the OWB. Kept things simple, kicked the corners, was patient, stayed within the structure, and didn’t try to overplay his hand.

If Trindall is ever going to be a full time NRL player, this is the role for him. Playing in the right side of the field, just doing his own job, with the bloke on the left running the show.
That was good, he had a few runs which is great but we’ve at times seen him play either very selfish or like he needs a big moment.
Often for the seven simple and smart is better.

funny when he gets 80 minutes he is incredible but a 9 minute cameo and he is crap

needs to cut his teeth at the jets and wait for opportunities
I think his last couple of cameos he has got the idea a bit more.

To start the season he was going rogue though

100%. And he grabbed this opportunity and played very very well.

A few more conversions would have been nice but his goal line D (closing down those 2 grubbers) and his kicking in general play was great.

More than filled in for Nico last night.

He won't be waiting until Nicho or Moylans contract has finished.

Two years ago people were saying he'll be gone if we don't start him then. He's still here.

He played a pretty good game while we were dominant, he has played a few other pretty good games. He was outplayed by Moylan last night (imo) so should we really not keep Moylan on a good price for Trindall? I don't think he has been that good.

I don't see a Storm or a Roosters picking him up to start anytime soon, if he wants to leave for an opportunity at a pleb club anytime soon so be it.

Yep but 2 years ago he was untried at 7.

I'm just saying some club will take him before we are ready to give a position mate, that's all

Yeah I know, it's not like he is some crazy talent who singlehandedly just beat the Storm though.
Right now Moylan is playing better and we can get him on a good price, we also have other promising youngsters who are 18+ months away from being NRL ready.

Only reason to prioritise Trindall now would be if Fitz sees him as a much better partner for Hynes.
By all reports Hynes and Moylan love their partnership together and Fitz does see Hynes as a (developing) halfback.
Hynes has only started two more games in the halves than Trindall has and Trindall certainly hasn't killed it every single game he plays at half.
Hynes polled 2 votes playing as our 7 just last week.

Trindall currently signed for next year anyway. IMO he's a player who would be wise not to race off to sign by mid November unless someone throws stupid money at him. Better to get into first quarter of next season and see how things are playing out.
Otherwise he risks being Metcalf mk2 - frozen out of Sharks NRL side and watching your **** new club keep signing competition for you
