Also had a few drinks with the singer from the architects and the boys from the ghost inside. All absolute gems and all bought me a beer. Safe to say some of my fav bands got me drunk. Best times

Dave Faulkner was a nice bloke when I met him about 5 yrs ago after a Sharks Grand Final Luncheon, John Lambie who is a former Wallaby forward, met him at another sports luncheon & was a top bloke, mingled for ages afterwards having beers with me & a few mates.

Len Pascoe, former Aussie fast bowler was a true gentleman, funny Fitz was saying earlier about Steve Waugh, I wont repeat what Len thought of Steve as a bloke, lets just say it wasn't a rap.

Can anyone can confirm or deny Anthony Mundine is a great bloke, I have never met him but I have been told a tonne of times through differnt people the bloke that fronts or spruiks in the media is nothing like him when the camera stops rolling.

I sat next to Dave Faulkner when we played Easts a few years ago in the members at the SFS. He is a massive Sharks fan, no doubt about that. Nice bloke, too.

Great guy. He personally has done some amazing fund raising things for my cousin without being asked once and helps my grandfather whenever he sees him struggling carrying things/walks him to his car when he is by himself(he is in his 80's and has known Choc since he was a little kid through his old man and they are often at similar events for boxing). It isn't as if they are close friends he just is a very respectful person which is amazing considering what a bucket he carries on like at times. Honestly would give the shirt of his back type of guy. He just carries on so people pay to watch him "get knocked out" but even knowing what I know I find it hard to "cheer" for him after his comments on Geale. That stuff IMHO was just over the line and made me feel sick about someone I've always viewed so highly.

Dunno why Anthony does what he does in the media, he would get great support as well just being humble without all the crap that he goes on with.

When I was younger I did a few ski seasons at Kitzbuhel in Austria. It was NYE in 97 and I was working the door at the Londoner pub. The line in was huge as it was a really good joint. The manager approached me and said a VIP was coming and he was to be let straight in. It was Eddie Irvine. So as the time passed and the line got longer and angrier, I forgot about Irvine. So I'm on the door and these 2 blokes with really hot clicks start pushing through the line. Everyone is starting to get the ****s and a few words are exchanged. I'm watching all this and as the blokes get to the front of the line I grab one around the throat and start walking him back, right then the manager starts screaming, "that's Eddie Irvine, It's Eddie Irvine", I say, "who and let him go". Irvine says, "I Eddie Irvine the Formula 1 driver you ********". I respond, "well you are obviously no ****in good cause I don't recognise you".

Irvine was let in and acted a tool all night and I got the sack.

Is that the same Dave Faulkner from the Hebbie Jeebies. He and A.Snowden are great mates.

Len Pascoe is a great man. Was club coach when I played Grade cricket in Sydney.

Steve Waugh is a funny one. I have seen both sides.

:lmao

I once did some bar work at a private function and I told (who didn't know) the owner that the bar was shut no more drinks and it was time to leave.
Lucky he did see the funny side of it...... I didn't get another shift

A mate of mine asked PAT CASH for an autograph , to which he replied "Piss off baldy"

I thought it was funny, my mate did not.

Great player but not a good bloke.

Was at a function a few years ago with Mark Waugh. He looked like he got the @$#@%! when he had to get up and be interviewed and when he was walking out, a guy asked him for his autograph, to which Junior replied - mate, I was sitting in there for hours, you couldn't ask me then? Seriously, it would have taken as long to sign it as it took him to say that! W*nker

John Peard, Bob O'Reilly and Gus Gould are all champions
