Nick Seymour ex crowded house band owns a bush block on the coast near me with some friends he stays at when in Aus,and i camp at occasionally. Have taken him surfing several times, very good fellow with an unusual taste in
Cars.Robbie Kearns the storm "Ambassador" is a great bloke who is good to have a beer and yarn with. The Worst would have to be the ex or current bankrupt amongst other things, ex Collingwood AFL player- Peter Daigos.

Can't say I've really met all that many. (and I kind of agree with BJRshark when he says the whole celebrity thing is a little mystifying) Years ago, during the super league war, the powers that be organised that World Club Championship tournament. I was showing a couple of friends from Brisbane round Covent Garden and we bumped into a few of the Broncos players who were over playing one of the ESL sides. My mates girlfriend was absolutely stoked (mad Broncos fan) and we chatted for quite a while with Steve Renouf and Anthony Mundine. Have to say Renouf was/is a top guy. Happily posed for a photo and autograph and never seemed in any hurry to catch up with the others. Mundine was a little more stand offish, but still happy to chat.

Not a sporting star, but I did meet Peter Garret once when I was doing some work with Amnesty International. Lovely bloke. Very easy to talk to.

Not that he is a celebrity or anything but I met Gavin Orr about 10 yrs ago (was seated next to him at a wedding) anyway I can't recall if he was a player manager then or not but he was a good bloke to talk to, since then he has been in a fair bit of crap for doing dodgy things & I think was even banned for a certain time from the NRL.

Its so hard to take a persons personality on a chance meeting or introduction they may have lasted less than a minute but its still fun to read some of these posts & stories.

If any shark ignored my little 2 year old, I would cease to be a fan and member!. Michael stipe (from REM not sure if this was a sports only thread, gal otherwise ) was an incredibly intelligent guy. Noone ever unimpressed me as if they did, they weren't worth mentioning/remembering. The only thing worse than talking about you is not talking about you. (Oscar Wilde). Go sharkies 2013.

Dave Faulkner was a nice bloke when I met him about 5 yrs ago after a Sharks Grand Final Luncheon, John Lambie who is a former Wallaby forward, met him at another sports luncheon & was a top bloke, mingled for ages afterwards having beers with me & a few mates.

Len Pascoe, former Aussie fast bowler was a true gentleman, funny Fitz was saying earlier about Steve Waugh, I wont repeat what Len thought of Steve as a bloke, lets just say it wasn't a rap.

Can anyone can confirm or deny Anthony Mundine is a great bloke, I have never met him but I have been told a tonne of times through differnt people the bloke that fronts or spruiks in the media is nothing like him when the camera stops rolling.

had a few beers with him at matt rogers charity event in december

huge night had by all hahahaha

Didn't really meet the guy but I attended a NSW State of Origin team announcement when I worked for the then NSW team sponsor Wizard Home Loans and sat behind SMH journo Steve Mascord.

I swear the bloke swanned about the room like he owned the ****ing place.

He came across as a world class douchebag.

I was running around The Rocks early one morning, must have been at least 10 years ago now. Saw a woman ahead of me to which I caught up to and said hi as I was passing. Realised it was Lucy Liu who was here promoting Charlie's Angels. We ran together for about 30 minutes and had a chat. Lovely, lovely woman in both appearance and personality.

Yep was pure luck. I run around there quite often and was quite surprised she was happy to run and chat with me for that long. I must say she was beautiful. Way, way out of my league.

Joey and Russell Crowe both top blokes.

Sterling and Langlands absolute tossers.

Forgot Pat Rafter, this guy is just as nice as he appears in the media - it's almost impossible to be as humble as this guy was. And Ron Coote met him at a pre-game function once, another top bloke.

Benji Marshall is a champion bloke. Met him at the casino on the gold coast few years back. Mathew Hayden, Dale Thomas, Gary Ablet, James Magnnessum bunch of champions.

Kade snowden was the biggest ****wit I ever met. Wanted to punch him out.

Was working the door at the Balmain Monkey Bar a few years back when the team had an end of year presentation or piss up or whatever, Benji was a top bloke really down to earth and happy to say gday, farah......

:lmao I love the sig josho.

You also reminded me of Fatty snobbing my old man when I was about 12 (with the Sterling comment). I said what would you want to talk to that loser for and Fatty turned round and glared at me.

His the next tier down from these blokes when it comes to people within football that I hate. Although I might mention there is a big gap between this tier and the next.
