Play 2nd last knights next week but think we need some luck with other results to make finals

Just need to win and have 1st place Bears beat the 4th place Raiders. That will get them in to 6th without having to rely on anything else.

They could finish as high as 3rd with every result going the right way for them though.

Wow, from flying high to needing results go our way.
Amazing how NRL injuries affect lower grades so much!

Jets themselves have had a bunch - Mansour, Gagan, Leiu, Tasipale (leaving). Probably a couple others not coming to mind right now - but yeah a bunch of movement up to NRL too, especially for a patch our forwards were in an out a lot

Stonestreet is one.

Could argue too that some of the other injured Flegg guys (Finau et al) might have been picked over others.

Starting to get a bit concerned about Finau, seems to always be injured.

I was wrong about this one. NSW Cup is doing a final FIVE this year. Not six.

Top 3 are decided. These teams are fighting for #4 and #5.

31 - Warriors (+130) Warriors finish 3rd.
31 - Raiders (+56)
30 - Sea Eagles (+95)
30 - Panthers (+82)
29 - Jets (+95)
29 - Bulldogs (+78)

Jets have to win (or draw) their own game to have a chance. They also want at least two of the red teams to lose.

Saturday
Dragons vs Warriors Warriors won (n)
Panthers vs Eels Eels won (y)

Sunday
Bulldogs vs Sea Eagles
Bears vs Raiders
Roosters v Magpies - no impact on finals

**

Jets win +
* All 4 of those teams lose = Jets will finish 3rd
* Any 3 of those teams lose = Jets will finish 4th

Jets win +
* Raiders lose ❓and Panthers lose (y) = Jets will finish 4th or 5th
* Sea Eagles ❓and one other team lose (y) = 5th will be decided on f/a between the Jets and Bulldogs
* Warriors and one other team lose = 5th will be decided on f/a between the Jets and Warriors

Jets draw +
* Panthers must lose (y), and Sea Eagles must lose by 16 or less ❓= Jets finish 5th.

Woohoo - go the Eels. Down 24-4 and scored five tries in the last 22 minutes to come over the top of the Panthers for the win.

Played NYC in 2015.

Just feels like he's been around forever. The bloke must have set some record for the amount of teams played for across different leagues by now. Keeps popping back up for his standard 3-4 games at the Jets every year though.

Yeah I just looked it up myself.

Some interesting names in that 2015 line-up

Plenty of time for Iro to still be in Newcastle as 18/ 19th man .
