Nice shout out to young gun Nikora Williams here.

Haven't heard of many of the others. Would love to hear more about Rudolf Tapuha and Tracey Iro.
What are the chances that a real person at the club haha
I didn’t even realise

Depending on how much stock you put in those "best young talent" lists that pop up, he's supposedly a gun.

Those lists are so variable though. I think I saw Jasper Catton in one as being a top 20 player, and then on the next list he didn't make the top 100.

Made the Australian Schoolboy team I think, again not a guarantee but hopefully one to watch.

Yeah I've seen his name around, just didn't click at the time I was 'naming' him in the list haha

In your head, rent free
flegg won 22-16

noah lester went from centre to half back and looked good, big felix, who played sg ball looked incredible, the winger with a weird name was good as well

max riolo is a class act as well

Still a big step up from Flegg to Cup, especially for a middle, but good he has handled the next jump in his progression. Always a question with the big boys where along the line their size stops being an advantage.

For some they can carry it through but for plenty once they are facing older players or men they can't hack it. For someone like Pele it is still an advantage in Cup but he gives up too much fitness and mobility for NRL at this stage.

Good to see Felix being tested out at next level.

Newtown jets apparently in talks with Mounties about some sort of feeder arrangement when Mounties re enter NSW cup in 25. Don't know anymore than that at the moment. Sounds weird i know as both are NSW cup teams. Anyone else heard anything about this ?

As per @Walley_01's post in the rumour's thread, Charbel Tasipale has signed with Castleford.

Great reward for him. It's a big loss for the Jets, but hopefully it means an opportunity for a younger player (O'Kane??)

The article also mentioned that they signed Liam Horne and released both Mahe Fonua and Bureta Faraimo.
Castleford, who have also signed Norths Devils back-rower Liam Horne from the Queensland Cup competition, have released three-quarters Mahe Fonua and Bureta Faraimo from their contracts to make space on the roster.

Looking back they've used
THT (named this week)
Pickering (named this week)
JC (NRL/suspended)
Leiu
Gagan got named couple times (assume he's injured?)

Other options - Parker, Hosking, Rodwell, O'Kane, Slade(?)
(Rodwell named wing already)
Probably another couple relevant names, especially from junior pathways who I can't think of right now

Slade and Hosking are middles. I guess either could cover 2nd row / learn it.

I'd guess Parker is next man in. He did a full pre-season with the Jets but has playing at De La.

Colquhoun and THT are middles! As you said we might be looking for someone to learn it

Speaking of middles, is Finau injured again?
Was really hoping to see him get some time with the jets this year.

Finau and Hardy are the other two that might have gotten a call up. Both injured though (I think).
