So just normal then?
Yep, apparently we should be updating the female toilets and building a new stadium instead.

Honestly never seen so many people get so worked about toilets.

Sure the stadium isn't great but people need to be realistic - either we stay at Shark Park and see small incremental improvements from time to time, or we move to one of the newer stadiums and get poor crowds and less pre/post game money into the Leagues club.

or the sharks could spend a dollar themselves to make sure the place that they own has bathroom facilities that are a better standard

This is the conundrum of owning your own ground. There isn't really ROI for them, it's not really going to pull more people to the ground imo.
Bingo, and they aren't having any issues filling the place with the reduced capacity. They need to be mindful of where they spend money on stadium upgrades.

They were obviously waiting for that sweet sweet stadium upgrade money to come in for why nothing was done for a while. They need to move on.

One of the big complaints has been the Peter Burns female toilets, those will likely all get done when they can reopen the bar underneath. Something they have tried to do but have been knocked back by council from what I've been told.

Hopefully they did some stuff over the off season. Fact they are upgrading the big screen (s ?) gives me hope other stuff is being done as bad as they were in both size and quality there is probably other more pressing things ?

than the womes changerooms maybe, that said i would have thought this was a prerequisite for the womens team but whatevs

i would say the patrons toilets are the most pressing than the screen but i won't complain about that

Any changerooms is a women's changerooms if you restrict it to women
But it is probably nice they have their own recognised space and space they can be comfortable in rather than sitting at Toby Rudolf's stank locker. Makes it easier to smoothly hold multiple games back to back too, including but not exclusively fixtures including women's games.

I think they've previously said the reason that can't have men's and women's games back to back is cos of the toilets issue haven't they?

Yeah there was an issue like that but I don’t recall the specifics and a quick google didn’t help me, but that’d make sense though

Firstly, apologies for the poor cropping, but saw this on fb and found it interesting.
Parra turned a profit last year simply because of poker machines.
We all know what Penrith did when they redeveloped their leagues club land built a large gaming floor - were basically able to self fund a centre of excellence which went a long way towards the creation of a dynasty.
Im still disappointed that the Sharks haven't followed suit in our own redevelopment.

Yes, you can say that feeding addiction isnt great - but people are already addicted and are simply spending their $$ elsewhere.
Personally find it an opportunity missed by the club to create some serious revenue

I hate the pokies and would prefer us to relocate rather than to put any more focus on them than what we had at the old club.

The big outdoor deck is a bit of worry for me though. It will be amazing at times, but between the southerlies in summer, and the winter cold, it will have to be well protected. Been down there at the shopping centre on a few windswept nights lately, the shopping centre is deserted and the unfinished deck looks desolate. Hopefully the club will liven the whole area up though

It needs more shops open but yeah it’s usually pretty quiet.

It is getting busier now people are living above and more start moving in. Pancetta opens in February I believe
