Yeah OK I'm the opposite there, I like Riccio.
Riccio is easily his best guest, no one comes close to the perspective he gives. Needs to be more on more often. He's a journo, can't be that busy.

I might have to visit the labor club in belco, any good feed?I am drop by east lakes in gungulhin a lot since it’s my local; but then again gungahlin has a lot of construction going onSo what Clinton said, the air space above the LC is interesting. DIG UP, STUPIUD!
local joint near my work has done a similar thing (labor club in Belconnen @Matty C of the Shire ). they had the club, then built a hotel and carpark around and above it. but they also knocked buildings over etc so im not sure how feasible that is for us given the support structure needed. but im not an engineer.
the air space thing intrigues tho.
Completely irrelevant but he really grates on me for some reason, struggle listening to him.
He's just a pessimist. Very Sharks-fan behaviour if you ask me!Find he rarely has anything good to say about the club, signings or pretty much anything to do with the sport. For a guy that loves the club as much as he does, its really odd
Actually, pretty standard journo behaviour
Chat gpt please take my last members update and reword it slightly to make it feel like more progress has been made.![]()
CEO and Chairman's Update - Christmas-New Year edition
Welcome to a combined Christmas-New Year Update from CEO Dino Mezzatesta and Chairman Steve Mace, as we detail business conducted during the months of November and December, while looking ahead to 2025 and what is promising to be another memorable season.www.sharks.com.au
We continue to work with the Developer in getting our Club lot handed back, which will then allow us to progress to our fit out and build. We are very close to this milestone and assure Members we are working around the clock to make this happen.
In parallel to this, and so we are ready to hit the ground running, we have received the tenders for our Club works and fit out from the nominated builders. These tenders continue to be reviewed, with a view to selecting a builder to deliver our Club in the New Year.
Whilst the wait has been extensive and the process a drawn out one, we ask Members to take confidence in that we are ensuring the Club is well positioned and protected as we receive handover in what has been a challenging and complicated arrangement. The good news is we can see a pathway ahead, one which is now clearer than ever before, and we expect to have some news in the New Year to provide our Members a timeline for completion of the build and fit out.
8 million just for female facilities?![]()
Support the Sharks' mission to upgrade female facilities
The Sharks are urging members, fans, people of the Sutherland Shire and the local community to simply sign a petition in a display of the importance of improving facilities for female players and athletes at Sharks Stadiumwww.sharks.com.au
Should the petition indicate strong support from the community, Mr Kennedy, Ms Ware and the Federal Liberal Party will pledge a $4 million grant to upgrade the Sharks female facilities if the Coalition forms the government after the next election. That amount will be matched by the Sharks.

Yep, it's actually our local footy ground, so it'll be awesome when it's done.I got a shock when I to Parra Leagues Club a couple of years back and realised how old and out-of-date it was.
Will be good news for Parra, but also good for anyone going to Commbank Stadium.

I reckon they would fit in some other useful improvements at the same time.8 million just for female facilities?
You’d think they’ll be more done with that money?
True, they do say a “pledge” though. In the end it’s a potential $4 million boost that the club is confident enough in to publicise. Kennedy is clearly aiming for bigger things and I don’t think he’d break his first pledge. So the Libs get a list of names and addresses of potential voters and we get a **** promise that's been broken before?
Love politics
So just normal then? There is a lot of negativity on Facebook comments, but you take $4 million wherever you can.
Yeah , just a pity the local liberal state member has been so anti any funds for the Sharks .True, they do say a “pledge” though.
