i agree we need to sign a centre but only if they are upgrade on the players we already have.
i do not think cross is a upgrade, i would prefer to see one of young guys given a chance.

I don't see why we need to buy a centre? Or buy anyone else for that matter, When we haven't even seen what the 2012 Squad play a single game together.

To answer the thread topic, a NO from me. Let's concentrate on what we have & then build from there.

Because weve seen everyone play except for Feki and he hasnt played first grade yet. Our centres are average. Bog average. Weve gotta do something to improve them or having Carney aint gonna do ****e.

Some have no idea, why the resistance against signing Cross?
Prior to going to rugby he was one of the best centres in the game and now wants to return to the NRL.
He aint gonna cost much and even at this current point in his career he's still better than the majority of centres and wingers we've got,
which compared to other teams would be the worst or close to in the comp. People have got to stop thinking just because a player wears a sharks
jersey he is any good. Majority of our centres and wingers wouldnt play first grade at any other club.

Sign him up.

I want him. We wont win a comp with young rookies. We need some experienced guys for our young guys to aspire to and bust their guts to be better than. Cross wont be a liability. He is big and can run. The only issue I have is how his tackling is after a trot in Rugby

was just watching him on youtube to remind myself of what he is like, his running style is elusive, reminds me a bit of early matty rogers - the way he used to slip through tackles

he seems to break tackles for no apparent reason, it doesn't look like skill or speed ... just freaky elusiveness, I'd like to give him a go
