this may sound strange, but what about giving Jmo a run in the centres? he is a great defender and has an eye for gaps, i think that is his only chance of making the 17 and he is a good enough player to make it there but wont beat out Carney, Graham, Kelly, Townsend, Robson or De Gois for their spots, i know his attack might not be ideal for centres but he can tackle the biggest players

Because As it stands we will have the same back line (other than carney) as we did last year ... Like it or not it's arguable the worst back line last year in the comp.. It needs serious upgrading sooner or later !

Is that a joke Snowman? Isn't George Rose one of the biggest props out there for Manly? There is no way I would put him as a centre, he couldnt even play a whole game, onto the Ryan Cross discussion, my opinion is we should give him a crack, he has good experience, very strong, good at breaking through the tackles and he would give our youngsters good knowledge on the game

as Mark said Deano there was a small article 1-2 weeks ago in the telegraph (for what is worth) that the "Sharks were potentially interested" & Flanno was going to meet w/ him soom to see what his (Cross) thoughts were, the way I interprated it was (assuming the Telegraph article was true) that Cross signing was more than likely going to happen.

Yeh dont worry, I thought it was tongue in cheek, maybe have Poms as a 2nd row option, hes fairly solid guy and strong build, from my understanding wasent there discussion of that last year? Thats just if we sign Cross though, other than that, im all for keeping Poms at centre, I reckon Poms is a good centre
