I'm all for giving the juniors a go, but if Flanno feels as though Cross can fill that void in the centers until the juniors are ready then I'm in 100% support of his decision.

does Ryan Cross add depth to the squad = yes

if we can afford him, who cares if he plays NSW cup all year..

that means our centres in 1sts deserve to be there on form..

I voted no simply for the fact he hasn't played a game of league in 6 years and is 32 years old.

It's a vastly different situation to when Wendell Sailor, Lote Tuqiri and Matty Rogers came back.

Those guys were still relatively young when they came back and they are/were top class players.

If we are to sign him for depth then I am for it but to be a starting centre, I have my serious reservations.

Voted no. Assume he wont be an outright bargain, hence I'd rather spend the money on a player <25 y/o.

Fair enough,

The argument still remains.

Those three were world class players, Ryan Cross isn't.

Plus the fact that Cross was always out injured leaves me cause for concern.

Our injury list is absurd most years.

I couldn't confidently say that he is better than what we already have.

I remember him at the Roosters as a slightly better than average first grader. With the extra age, who knows how it would go. Could be good but could also be diabolical.
