Cheers guys. Still hobbling around campus atm. Students saying I should be resting at home - although, I'm pretty sure that's because they don't want to endure my classes rather than any significant concern about my welfare. :)
Hmmm...not sure about a next one HB. I'll see how my body feels in a month or two. :dougy:

Haha we'll see, it can become addictive.

As far as hobbling around is concerned.....even though it doesn't feel like it active recovery is by far the best form of recovery.

No mate, my kids are going to do Sutho 2 Surf in July, you doing that?

No won't be doing S2S mste, have another race planned around that time.

Will be doing SMH on sunday with my 22 week pregnant wife. Will obviously be much slower than our usual pace but will be good fun.

How'd you & Mrs HB go?

Fun day out thanks, BS. Ran at the back of the pack and just enjoyed ourselves. Much, much slower than our normal pace but given my wife is 23 weeks we were never going to be quick. That's her last race before giving birth. Her comeback race is slated as The North Face 100 next May.

Well can't believe this. One of my work colleagues was talking about doing the City to Surf this year. I've never done it but heard myself saying "I'll do it if you do!"
Next thing you know a plan has now started. Actually, I'm happy to give it a go, I will need a new pair of knees though.

Anyone on here ever done it?

So Chadley, where are you with this? I get the feeling you have been avoiding this thread haha.

i applaud you hb, i cant run 1km, i get bored and my fitness sucks. id love to though

Nah I won't be doing it mate. Can't be bothered driving down there for it, plenty of runs of that distance up my way.

You could easily do it if you wanted to, but if you get bored there's no point I suppose.

Haha. I couldn't run for more than a few hundred metres without stopping when I first started. Anyone can do it if I can.

Good thread. I actually don't have anything to add to it content wise, but it is so civil and amicable!

Carry on.
