It is, but clearly he is not doing, and perhaps not capable of doing it. I dont know enough about our interior workings to say, but most teams these days have specific attack/defense coaches etc., I am not sure who ours is, or if we can even afford one, but If we do have one, they are not good enough.
You would hope so, but its not always the case, and experience covers a wide variety of things, some which we wouldnt see, but would still add to the team and help out the younger players. This is the problem though, unless youre a star player that just knows these things (eg/ johns, locky, carney) you do need to be taught them, and especially when its a role based situation in set plays, which are designed by someone other than the players in question. At the end of the day some our players in key roles are not up to the best standard, and coaches need to be able to get the best out of them when thats the case.
A good example is Mullen. Always been ok, not great....look at what Bennett has done with him in just over 12 mths.
