Warriors humilated by Cronulla Sharks 45-4 Sydney Morning Herald The Sharks, equally desperate to turn around their own three-match losing streak, showed far more energy and execution to run away with a 45-4 win in this round 22 encounter at Mt Smart Stadium. You see, just when I was having a good day Flanagan goes and bangs on about this. FFS, if untrue rumours affect a player this much he isn't a mental giant is he. The only reason Carney should let this affect his performance is if it was true. Get the **** over it and keep playing like we did today.[/QUOTComeon Tef, the rumour not going away, so like a good manager, Flanos coming out and backing his troops. I know you know what I mean.
Absolutely agree 110%, coach pulled off (pardon the pun) a virtual master stoke. What a performance from the Sharkies! It's great to see the boys back out there tearing up the paddock. That game was an absolute credit to Shane Flanagan.
While Carney, Tupou, Fafita and Best all had good games, I want to give wraps to Mathew Wright. He isn't flashy but boy he is so reliable as our fullback. For the last three years I have been getting palpitations everytime a high ball goes up for our fullback but have started to relax now that Matty is there fulltime.
Also noticed today he is starting to sniff around the ruck when Tupou does his hit ups....looking for the offload. He will start making some breaks soon - Give him time....
It was also good to see our U20's get a big win today. I've always wondered if the lower grade has a big win if it inspires the first grade side?
Just on the commentary. Was that the first time they have had "commentaries choice" I've never heard the fox sport commentate game over in nz. Was good not to have to listen to those kiwi commentators
