Warriors humilated by Cronulla Sharks 45-4 - Sydney Morning Herald

Warriors humilated by Cronulla Sharks 45-4
Sydney Morning Herald
The Sharks, equally desperate to turn around their own three-match losing streak, showed far more energy and execution to run away with a 45-4 win in this round 22 encounter at Mt Smart Stadium. The seven-try effort represented the Sharks' biggest win ...

You see, just when I was having a good day Flanagan goes and bangs on about this. FFS, if untrue rumours affect a player this much he isn't a mental giant is he. The only reason Carney should let this affect his performance is if it was true. Get the **** over it and keep playing like we did today.[/QUOTComeon Tef, the rumour not going away, so like a good manager, Flanos coming out and backing his troops. I know you know what I mean.

What a performance from the Sharkies! It's great to see the boys back out there tearing up the paddock. That game was an absolute credit to Shane Flanagan.
Absolutely agree 110%, coach pulled off (pardon the pun) a virtual master stoke.
Hats off to S.F.. His tactics for this game warmed my cockles.
so much so i couldn't believe i was watching my fav footy team, it all seemed so surreal.

Our coach is something outta the box. just when it seemed the daggers and arrows are poised for
the main artery, he ducks and weaves and effortlessly takes us to a new level.
KUDOS were KUDOS is due.
While i'm at it, To all those expert pundits that had us falling from ignominy to the dog house without a whimper this year..
GO EAT DOG DOO-DOO!! you know who you are!:lmao

While Carney, Tupou, Fafita and Best all had good games, I want to give wraps to Mathew Wright. He isn't flashy but boy he is so reliable as our fullback. For the last three years I have been getting palpitations everytime a high ball goes up for our fullback but have started to relax now that Matty is there fulltime.

Also noticed today he is starting to sniff around the ruck when Tupou does his hit ups....looking for the offload. He will start making some breaks soon - Give him time....

I'm prepared to allow him till the GF!
How good was todays performance for the Club- The platform was set by a mighty win, even least expected than ours, by Sharkies U20s!

It was also good to see our U20's get a big win today. I've always wondered if the lower grade has a big win if it inspires the first grade side?

Yeah, they played awesome. Was a great win. I can't believe how bias the NZ commentators were though. There was a moment when Cronulla got a penalty, I think it was Moroko being held too long in the tackle and then got pushed over. The commentator was like 'He's milked that, He's a great actor'. There was plenty of other examples too.

Just on the commentary. Was that the first time they have had "commentaries choice" I've never heard the fox sport commentate game over in nz. Was good not to have to listen to those kiwi commentators

I can't remember ever hearing the Fox Sport guys call a game there, I was surprised, but glad.

Yeah I thought that too. Normally day games in NZ you get stuck listening to those kiwi jokers.
They are just unprofessional. Way too biased.

I could actually hear a few fans calling Todd things such as "cokehead"

It is a credit to his composure and mental toughness to play like that after such BS rumours are being spread.

came as surprise to me while our game was on..i flip flopped between the Daley's "the warriors are playing crap" commentary to the NZ commentary.
great innovation for fox if you ask me..

Warriors broken by Sharks on their 'darkest day'
The Australian
