Wow, didn't realise this thread existed either. Got a bad feeling it might get smashed tonight. In regards to his recent article, very very poor timing. Even though he was right on some things, was always going to ignite the whole affair. Tool

How long has this guy actually been a "supporter"?

Is he a johnny-come-lately or has he been a supporter and local resident for years?

It's amazing he ever found someone that allowed him to procreate.
And that the seaman didn't shrivel up like rotten tomatoes on the way to the ovary.

It is funny looking back at the beginning of this thread. Most of the comments are positive, what a turnaround. I'm liking all the backlash Rothfield has received for the column, especially from non Sharks fans. Oddly, it warms my heart. If you can't support us when we're losing, don't support us at all. Rothfield is definitely not #BornWithIt

Hey SR
I'm not defending "Buzz off" but what does being a "local resident" have to do with being a supporter?

I've never lived in the Shire, but I bleed, Black White and Blue.
I kick the cat out the way when we lose and get cranky as hell.
I own just about every jersey type since the old hoop jerseys of the 80's (including Home and Away).
I have the colour me black white and blue book, watches, stubbies, my kids have Sharks boardies etc etc.

Pls don't go down the must be a "Shire resident" to be a true supporter track.

That wasn't what I was getting at, sorry if you took it that way. Some of our most passionate supporters (especially on here) are from outside the area.

What I'm trying to work out is, how long has he "supported" the club and why?

It has been mentioned before on here that he lives in the area and he is involved with De La. I'm just wondering if he's always been supporting the club or whether it's just something contrived to sell newspapers.

From memory Buzz actually used to be a Dragons supporter. I think there was an issue one year with his season pass, as in they stuffed up his seating or some stupid ****, and I believe he started following his then-club's rival. Not sure where I read that though.

If the club has put all those bans on Snowman , then varicose vein face Rothfield should have his balls hanging from the goal post. Someone kicked over the bucket when he was born. You don't support the club hit the frog and toad.

Haha

Wouldn't surprise me.

I suspected that there would have to be some ridiculous back-story.
