I don't think it's the end of the world, Dragons lifted and played the best they have all season. As soon as we can snap out of our old tricks and start to play a varied style of footy we will be fine. We deserve to be where we are and to be honest a form slump right now is probably the best thing that can happen- sort out what's going wrong and fire up for rd 26/finals.

JSL played well last night, I wouldn't mind seeing him on the bench over Paulo.

Chad has really dropped off in form and is stifling us big time.

I'm keeping calm, but holy hell if Spurs AND Cronulla pull a choke in the same year I'll be furious.

Why would you drop Beale? Attack isn't the issue its the soft tries up the middle. Beale played better than bird when he was at centre today. Beale is out best defensive centre. He only gets caught out when shifted to the wing.

His form has dropped and unlike nearly every position in the team we have a first grade centre ready to go, it's not so much that he's playing badly it's just that he isn't an attacking threat at all.

Agree on Birds defence last night was atrocious but with ball in hand he always looks a bees dick away from breaking a tackle and running away with it, Beale just doesn't look like a threat at all.

The two plays that are getting on my nerve are the forwards charging back in to the ruck defenders and the left to right backline sweep, the ruck charge thing just does nothing ino, and teams have well and truly worked out the sweep play, Barba has been shut down 10/10 times in the two games we've played.

Flanno has serious game play adaption issues, to me the number one thing in coaching should be what worked last week against team A wont work this week against team B. Teams will work you out in video sessions and that is exactly what's happened.

It's hard to blame Flanno too much for sticking with what got us 15 straight wins or whatever but the last few weeks he has been out coached plane and simple. He is stubborn and not the most dynamic coach so I really hope he address the issues and makes the necessary adjustments before it is too late or we could be screwed

It's not the first time a Sharks side has had a red hot regular season to fall to pieces towards the back end and it was always my fear that history would repeat itself in that regard. This is really now when Flanno needs to earn those bucks and show he has what it takes to get us back where we should be and get to that GF.

Anxious times ahead

Well at least if we don't finish second we still get a final in Sydney the first week.

Fair enough I just think there are bigger issues, but your right there is no easy answer to the real issues we have.

They really just don't look like they are playing as a team at the moment. Everyone just looks like they are doing their own thing. Strange.

Wish we could just go back to building pressure, the 5th tackle bomb last night
Was like going back in a time warp. I did like how val seemed to want to be a lot more involved some of those runs after a ruck pass in the 2nd half looked like he was shot out of a missile. Chad did done great defence in the 1st half, but havnt seen any spark in attack from him for way to long.

Maybe it's the night games... Everyone of our losses/draws have been at night. The remaining games are all also at night..

On a side note razor blade sales go through the roof within the shire, chemists have had to truck them in from over the bridge as they no longer need them.

I'm not giving up yet finals is a whole different ball game and I use an electric razor anyway

Val was epic last night with some of his runs. Wish some others would follow him
