I sort of saw this coming , saw Lewis at Miranda on Thursday he said he was pretty banged up and sort of had a limp(probably soreness).

Give the boys some rest , it should be a kick up the ass to put a clinic on the Dragons.

I'm not giving them a free pass - I seem to be the only one who can see how beaten up they are after a squillion wins and an incredibly tough outing last week.

Anyways, as hopeful as I was for this game, I knew we had no chance this week
I think most people appreciate that. It was like watching a different side tonight. They looked tired to me.

Is it the Dragons next week? It is a good chance to get back on track.

Not allowed to be banged up according to most of the heroes on here

How Could ennis have a stomach bug, but apparently still be in coaches box? Seems odd hope it's nothing more serious injury wise...
Annoying too lose but still up on my toes over the season, be weird feeling for the boys at recovery tommoz and training this week, watch plenty of video of the game and get set to do a number on the drags next week.
Fox reporters said early in the game that he was sick all week and hadn't trained since Monday (assumingly at all then). Then something about due to illness hampering recovery from last game he was at increased risk of injury so they didn't play him.

I wish our problems were just fatigue and banged up players but still need to acknowledge the cracks and faults in our game that need addressing. Some have been lingering around for a time

There's no more byes, flanno resting players from training, what else can be done than resting players from games (hmm ennis...) or reducing minutes in an effort to freshen them up.

Might well be the sting in the pants we needed. Our season hasnt been derailed cause of one loss.

I think when they've been on top for so long it's hard to continually get up week after week. At the start of the season we had something to prove, no one was putting us in the calibre of the top sides. Once they beat all the top sides we began to coast on top, getting it done but not convincingly.

Hopefully the media and opposition fans come out in force and start calling that we peaked too early. That will get some fire into the boys. We also have 7 and 9 day turn arounds coming up for games against Saints and the Rabbits. No game in the NRL is easy but if we are going to get back on track and get the polish back, this is our opportunity to do it.

Mental side of things a big challenge over a long season for sure , but they cannot assume things just click in place come finals time. I don't think they have coasted, they have still had to work hard for their wins and execute well.

Weaknesses have been there along the journey and teams are starting to exploit them more regularly. Can't always lift to overcome or hide them so we have a few weeks to address them before **** gets real

Raiders were the better team but those refs were ****ed. Disagreed with two bunker decisions in particular. Most blatent double movement I have seen. Way worse than the one Holmes had disallowed.

The Sharks have won games before where they weren't the better team and I reckon we would have had a chance tonight without that bull**** to contend with.

We are probably carrying a lot of injuries, we certainly played a bit like busteds tonight, maybe we have been over producing.. We now seem to have a lot of trouble with big mobile packs who rush us in defence..... it appears we have no counter and again, we are being dominated by these bigger packs around the rucks and also for yardage.

There has been signs of this over the last month or so , Lets hope our coach can come up with a plan to counter the trend.

Tonight showed just how much we missed Ennis In defence around the ruckshe does so much that goes unnoticed .The Canberra Hooker killed us.

Cannot miss second place. Don't need nervous nellies shooting their load off early. Team needs to shut out all the noise and get ready to win game 1 in the semis then game two then the grand final. These next few games mean nothing.

I reckon our outside bucks have been really **** at hit ups the last few games. Our actual forwards haven't been that bad. In fact Graham and Fifita are in good to great form.

In hindsight, it's easy to say that we could see a loss happening but I felt like we started pretty well. Those back to back tries from Canberra killed us. Our attack looked sloppy but I think chasing points didn't help. Canberra defended really well and Hodgson had an outstanding game.

16 games undefeated and lose the next game by 16.

Oh well, gotta aim up next week and start a new streak.

The Austin try was so strange , we didn't even get to see the other angles before it was awarded.

Why we let go of David Fifita is beyond me , Taga has been hopeless for months now.
