I know a lot of it was our own doing but we only had 42% of possession last night, we really weren't far off from winning. Also, as Vic said a day or two ago we have the worst record of any team over the first month of the season.

I'm feeling more optimistic about the year now than before last night's game.

1 **** up doesn't excuse another. They both come up short on their assignments.

So why is it pinned on one but not the othet?

Still made it there and missed the tackle. If he went low & used his shoulder he could have made the tackle.

If. IF.
If Feki and Ricky didnt **** up he wouldnt have been needed.

But but but he was needed and fell short.

Sounding like that fullback from yester-year who refused to tackle blokes who broke into the backfield because the other 12 blokes shoulda got him.

Can't talk for others but I'm not pinning blame on one over the other. They both ****ed up. Dunce hats for all.

You must have missed the memo, mate. Beale is the new whipping boy. Strap yourself in.

yep, big shoes to fill, been robbo, gordon, leutele all before him.

plain and simple we lost because we didnt hold the ball. Theres always going to be a defensive lapse in the game here of there, they need to tighten up and work on that, Feki/Leutele have played enough footy together now that their side of the field should be air tight more often than not. That first try was just weak. But our ball control was terrible. How are you meant to mount pressure on a team when you keep just handing it over? From the WCC i thought it was a mixture of rustiness and the wet cold conditions, but obviously its something that is an issue right now.

nah, i was the winger making the **** defensive read who turned arounbd and abused his fullback for missing the tackle. wait, what?

A **** up is a **** up as far as I'm concerned. All involved needed to do better.

I wouldn't worry about ****s with an axe to grind. For some reason people need a scapegoat and even if Beale monstered him into touch they'd gloss over that whinge about something else.

Its like all the old Flanno haters that have been MIA since we started our run last year. Just irrelevant noise mate.

It is a fullback's job to clean up at the back. Should he not have to catch kicks because the 2nd rower failed to charge it down?

Blaming Beale for Roberts try, way to harsh like a cricket team getting getting stuck into their tail Enders when there is a batting collapse... I didn't think Beale was as bad last night as some made him out, puts a lot of pressure on a untested val to he 10 times better. Feki and lee produced beyond ordinary reads that lead to tries.
