Beale gets way too much crap from Sharks fans, he's performed decently as a replacement fullback both games. He just needs to find some form again like his first season at right centre.

My analysis:

Defensively we were pretty solid. Beale had a couple of brain snaps and the Broncos scored some pretty soft tries. This can be rectified. Beale is ok at fullback but he needs to attack the ball at full pelt and run into the gaps in front of him instead of stalling and hopping around like a pansy. You guys are hard to please. Remember when Matty ****ing Wright was our fullback. We have to live with Beale until Val is fully fit.

Edrick Lee was piss poor in defence and still has brick hands. He has no defensive awareness what so ever.

Leutele and Bird were pretty solid. Loots looks to have bought some new offense to his game and is attacking the line much more.

All starting forwards were very solid and put in great effort. In my opinion, Prior should be playing atleast 55 minutes a game. We lost some edge when he was benched. Heighno and bukuya did not bring much extra to the game. Capewell needs to be bought in. Young, raw and talented.

Brailey was amazing and needs to retain his spot. As for NU BROWN, he is playing like he does not want to be here. No confidence in his play.

Feki did not jump for one ball in the air. It is beginning to **** me big time.

All in all, decent performance.

Disagree Vic no excuse for a fullback to allow the ball to be grounded when he's so close to it.

He was trying to ride it out for a 20m restart but didn't do a good enough job protecting it. Once Roberts was a chance he should've put it dead.

No doubt that was his low point, I meant the Kahu try soz... You forget how fast that Roberts Mong is, at normal speed I thought it was grounded on the line on replay he made it by a far margin.

Let's look at the tries we conceded:

1. Kahu. Poor read by Feki, doesn't normally read them that bad. Can be rectified.
2. Roberts. He's fast but we should have got to it first. With Val at the back the result would have been different I think.
3. Oates. Poor read by Lee. Only his first game with us with limited prep. Not excusing him but hopefully he'll improve.
4. Milford. Poor on line defence. He's hard to handle close to the line, but really bad misses by Lewis and CT and three others just shouldn't have happened. Need to improve on that.

Apart from that I thought our defence wasn't too bad. When Val comes back we'll have more attacking intent. Work on combinations and get our 9 rotation right will see us improve.

Im also looking at how they got their chances. A few off the back of errors. We coughed it up too much and were poor in the ruck defensively. They best us by 8. Should have been 18 the wat we played. Better ball control we won that game. Broncos fans should not be excited by that win, other than the 2 competition points. We werent any better than souths last night, tigers dismantled them

Yes, I thought at 20-6 down, things could have got ugly. But to our credit we fought back and got a couple of good tries. But yes agree mate about the ball security, one I remember was Fifita dropping it straight from a scrum 40 metres out, very frustrating. That led to the Roberts try I think.

Next week in Canberra is tough, could possibly be 0-2 after that one. Still think we can make the 8 and knock on the door of the top four.

Yes Fifita dropped it on the first tackle pretty sure they scored with there next set of six...Lee has a few mistakes in him he really needs to read the game better in defence, Hopefully this can be turned around.

Early days but we have a lot of work to do if we are going to make a real impact this year.

How long ago was that? Since then it's been, as Cesare says "Beale is ok... but he needs to attack the ball at full pelt and run into the gaps in front of him instead of stalling and hopping around like a pansy."

Not saying he is garbage - no fg footballer is. He just has some flaws which seem ingrained to the point of their becoming irreparable. Would love it if he were to prove me wrong.
