Can't believe this is only a touch over two weeks away, has really crept up fast.

Didn't realise the start time was so late, 8:05pm is a bit late on a school night I would have thought, and we all know it won't start on time.

This is the first season in a while where I'm not really sure what the team will look like. Who will play FB? This will also impact who plays centre and wing. Who plays hooker? What will the bench look like?

Interesting times.

Can sense the sharks gettin a right goosin in this game.
Don't know if its that Sharks fan built in pessimism or the fact we seem a bit unsettled in terms of team line ups etc but I can see us getting lapped here. Brisbane are going to have a top side this year and even though we are at home and now premiers I cant see a positive result in this one.

It's not going to be much different to last year, is it?

Only difference is benji korbin and another few sweeps of the broom for roberts

They've lost Parker though for Sims so I don't think there's a gain there. Benji....meh. I don't see them being a very different team to last year.

In your head, rent free
the glaring issue is getting seggy registered before rd 1

he is fit and in good nick but no match practice will hurt his cause

Even 30-40 minutes from him with another hooker on the bench is better than not having him. Can't see it happening before round 1 though unfortunately.

A solid performance is probably all that is required of this one, much like the cowboys game round one last year. Too many positions up in the air in the short term as others have said.

Does anyone know what the hold up with Seggy is? Is it his English club still blocking it or is it the NRL?

I'd book Brailey in the #9 for round 1. In fact - if I had to guess I'd say swap in Feki for Ramien and move Capewell to the right wing is the only change to the WCC team.
