He needs experience but there are times he's trying too much. It's like he's trying to prove he's this x-factor that can set up tries on every set.

Trindall on the other hand showed the composure needed as a halfback. BUT Hynes is still our best playmaker.

Yeah agree mate. I'm not sure he knows what he wants to do sometimes, lacks a bit of composure at times.

Cameron Munster had (probably still does) a bit of that.

I wouldn't take the 7 off him, give him another chance next year. See how he fairs after a full season with the current crop.

He just needs to relax, honestly that's all it is.
Yep. I think he's just still learning how to be 'the guy' on the team. Needs to learn he can be the best player on the park by nailing the little moments and not forcing the big play.

Is he an Reynolds/Cronk 7, not yet and he may never be. Doesn't mean he can't be a very good halfback. I'm thinking Mitch Moses without the attitude problems.

I think this is the best scenario. However with Moylan playing pretty well it's hard to know what to do
It’s not that hard - we have two 6’s ATM…

We need Trindall/someone who’s an actual 7 that can calm the game down and go through the processes to partner Hynes

Now we have two players in Moylan and Hynes that are creative and run first I don’t see Hynes ever being that controlling type and definitely not Moylan - we actually have a forward pack that can match it with the best we should look at changing something in the halves department if we keep it the same it won’t be good enough in the finals
