Why are so many quick to condemn Nicho on one game.

I reckon some of you guys just like to criticise for the sake of it.

I think you're sensationalising the responses. Most just made observations. He didn't have the best game and I honestly thought the attack looked clunky off him.

Does this mean he is incapable? No. He just simply didn't look great there in this game.

Mate I’m the last person to sensationalise things. :)

After one game at NRL we’re already putting the line through. Haha

Well its the sample we have. I didn't see a #7.

I'm not putting a line through him but writing him off after 1 game is more evidence based than inking him in before any games because Fitz (also zero FG coaching experience).

1 Hynes
6 Kennedy
7 Metcalf

I dunno about that but it's pretty clear our $600k p/a recruit is gonna be our best fullback in the club next year.

We need a fair dinkum #7. I think Kennedy could play #6.

I think Bort was taking the piss. Nicho will be a much better 6 than Kennedy. Its the 7 we really need.

If you want to go down that path using a sample size of 1 decreases the statistical power and reliability of the results.

What we should be doing is making no judgment call on his first game in the NRL at 7 and seeing him after more games when there’s a larger sample size. Which might not be this year and maybe never if he goes to 6.

That’s probably asking too much from people in here.

Also the game has started moving on from the traditional 7 is an organising halfback. That player can be the 6 too.

Thought he glided around the park with ease and did what was required. He is playing w the Storm so really didn't need to overplay his hand. His long kick looked effortless n u can tell he just has a good footy brain n very good hands

Look like he played centre when Cooper Johns came on. Didn't catch what minute but seemed like last 15 or so. Maybe more.

You're welcome to do as you please. If I feel like commenting on a player (don't think anyone is writing him off altogether mate) I'll do so.

Commenting and making a judgement call is different but each to their own. I don’t play the sample size card and write off players after one game

True. I was just commenting my observation of Nicho playing halfback. The more I see of him there the more I could say but I've obviously got not even 80mins to go off as he finished in the centres. Again not writing him off just think right now he'd be our best fullback or a good #6 meaning we need a #7 better than we have right now (Trindall could have a big improvement like WK by next year, who knows).
