Sounds like the old adage Bellamy gave Cronk all those years ago. "Kick well, make your tackles and your in the team".

I expect Nicho to perhaps go back to a bit of his 2022/23 style of play demanding more of the ball and trying to put on more plays.

Understandable with Trindall out and a debut rookie alongside him in the halves but I hope it don't backfire and we really need Kennedy and Blayke to keep helping out and contributing in attack.

Wonder what instructions Fitz has given his new halves pairing - all well and good to say do your job and keep it simple but what happens if it isn't working and our spine isn't generating points?

Yep.
100% we need BB and Will contributing, even more so now.

TBF, they have been, but maybe if they are able, they might need to step it up a bit more until the Tricky situation is over (and he is back along side Nicho).

Atkinson can play, so whilst it might not be our strongest team, hopefully he slides straight into “the next man up ethos”

Admitting he’s had main character syndrome

Just be another player on the field instead of trying to be the one and only star 🙏🏽
I hate how every article focusses on Nicho 'letting in a try'. It's like no one's every let in a try before.

It should be focussed on how NSW chewed up some players and used them as scapegoats.

Hopefully with a guy that has half an idea as a coach, that strategy won‘t be continued

I've had a few beers, but where exactly in that article did it mention "main character syndrome" ?

He says he's been guilty of searching for tries and assists in the past. Now the only stat he cares about is the win.

I guess you could draw a line to him searching for individual stats/accolades.

He talks about personal KPIs (of which seemingly tries and try assists are part of what he is assessed on by the club).

Bit of a stretch to say he's had main character syndrome.

If club set a KPO for Nicho to score tries that’s on us not him

Even try assists as measured by NRL or fox wouldn’t be on there I wouldn’t think

You must find it hard to read in between the lines.

Unless you’re waiting for him to say it word for word ?

It’s pretty clear
