Reports from that test yesterday had him at times that would have put him on the front row
That was in the Red Bull car though wasnt it? Not the Alpha Tauri?

I haven't been following closely this year, is the car itself any good? Should they have been performing better? I'm hoping he doesn't get stuck in a dudNow he needs to perform cause that red bull seat is ripe for the picking
They have been the slowest car but it's probably his best path for a better drive next season.I haven't been following closely this year, is the car itself any good? Should they have been performing better? I'm hoping he doesn't get stuck in a dud
Going to be interesting to see how svg goes since it's not a new track as well for all the other driversAnyone following SVG and Kosteki in the US this weekend??
Apparently Ferrari dealerships are horrendous to deal with.Hope this is an omen but like the Raiders against us, Max Verstappen going for 10 wins in a row too tonight at Monza. Hope those Ferraris can stop him. Getting pole is a start, but Red Bulls on a different planet with race pace. Anyhow for what it's worth, go those red cars.

I keep an eye on this every time I have a ticket in a lottery valued at over 20 mill.

Bathurst SVG breaks 300km/h barrier
For decades, commentators and pundits alike have talked about Supercars breaking the 300km/h mark at Conrod Straight.
Ford legend Glenn Seton claims he was the first to do it in the late 90s, but there was never a speed gun or any other data to back up the claim.
But on Friday, as Shane Van Gisbergen sat in James Courtney's slipstream on his final qualifying lap to squeak into the top-10 shootout, his Red Bull Triple Eight Camaro hit 300.5km/h.
The marker had been tipped to fall this weekend thanks to the reduced downforce on the Gen3 car, but the speed trap on Conrod Straight – which is located short of the point the cars reach their top speed – had to that point only recorded speeds in the low 290s.
