Was this right at the end of the game on the buzzer? Didn’t watch the game so if there was a different one, I wouldn’t know. If you’re talking about the penalty on the buzzer, there was no chance

No mate, not that one. I’d normally tell you to watch the game on replay but I wouldn’t want anyone to sit through that again. Even being up 16-6 at halftime, apart from the Will Kennedy show there wasn’t much else to see.

For the record, we were down 18-16 with around 6 mins to go when we received a penalty about ten metres to the right of the posts.

We should have taken the two to even it up but instead Hannay told them to take the tap and go for the try.

Tracey did a silly grubber on the second tackle and we lost the ball.

I don't know if it was extreme arrogance or extreme stupidity.

Actually yes I do, carry on.

[h=3]Moronic Coaching Decision of the Week[/h]There were plenty of contenders this week including Trent Robinson making a rare blue and playing Jared Waderea-Hargreaves just 11 minutes, Todd Payten moving Jason Taumalolo to an edge and Kevin Walters putting unnecessary pressure on the fragile Brodie Croft by putting Albert Kelly on the bench. The gong unquestionably goes to Josh Hannay though, who took responsibility for foregoing a shot at penalty goal down by two with five minutes to go. It was singularly one of the dumbest decisions of all-time and could well cost the Sharks a finals berth. It is hard to imagine a coach being more careless in a decision than Hannay was there.

Yep, dumb as dog****. Not fit to ever be a HC again, not even for the Gorillas.

Is that official or your desire?

I'm assuming desire, but even then it makes no sense. Who would be bring into replace him ? Howlett or Holdsworth ? That's no upgrade, and who replaces them in the AC role ?

There's 4 games to go till we get a new coach. Just see it out.

I'd go with captain/coach but the problem is we have no leader/s, that's why we have Woods as captain.

On the captaincy issue, seriously who makes an unwanted non salary cap related player as captain? I'd be prepared to give Kennedy a go.

I was hoping Toby would step up to the plate this year, started the season with a bang and led 1-2-3 but things seemed to fall apart after Bomber sacking, his game has deteriorated. I have faith in that he will develop into a SOO player under Fitz and Dales guidance.

How much do you know about him as a person, his leadership style and his personality?

I know nothing other than what I see on my TV screen or read online. He is our most improved player and probably would have performed even better had he had a pack with grunt in front of him. Will displays the will to win, a sign of a leader and prepared to give him the last 4 games as captain as part of his development. Why give it to ****s who won't be here next year?

i do see captain as a synonym for leader and I’ve always seen leader as a doing word, not a descriptive word. Will is absolutely leading with his efforts, but it’s unnecessary pressure. He’s just starting out at his new job, let’s not push him into manager just yet.

The stars shine. It's only 4 rounds to gain experience, you never know we may unearth a star which is gold. The responsibility might take his game to next level.

The kid struggles to play his position well every week at least let him learn to be be consistent in his own role before thinking of putting him in charge leading everyone else around on top of his own game

I’ve solved it, make Chambers captain, Hannay doesn’t want him to trash talk and he kept doing it so he’ll probably ignore the rest of the coaches instruction too (or just not hear them)
