where did I say Luke had an all time game? watch it again, defenders hang off him, he has time and space and presents options. he has more than 1 dimension to his game. he's been **** ever since he left souths I am not debating his form but he's a better player

Jayden either passes it or runs into the back of a retreating defender but makes it look like milking somehow. Jayden just has no rythm or timing to his game. he plays at 100 miles an hour but goes no where.

i think he will end up at wests - its a shame we are in cap mess

lichaa on a one year may be the way to go

With Dugan's play right now I'd be happy to shift Moylan and try get Luke... That would improve the spine and give young Brailey help and a good mentor to work with...

Would you roll the dice & make a play for Slade Griffin, I'm sure you'd get him close to min wage considering he's had x 4 knee reco's, his come from good schooling in the storm system & was playing well for the Knights before he done his knee, he can also cover backrow damn decent as well, if his knee's could hold up you'd find more use for him over Liicha or any back up hooker over the course of the season.

no thanks

whilst moylan has had a bad year, he is what we need from an attacking point

also, whilst you are happy to shify him, how many teams do you think pick up his 900k contract?

For a minimum wage spot in the back end of the squad you probably could, especially as next year we will have a lot of youth in the 30, by all reports he's good to have around and knows heaps.
As hooker #2 I think we'd want someone more reliable as he is super high risk. You'd sign him expecting him not to play and it's a bonus if he can so you have to be able to carry that (& value it) in your squad.

If he was gunna get a gig that way it'd be more likely somewhere that a leadership player and/or coaching staff were already familiar with him and could argue his case.

Yeah there's no chance someone pays full freight. I think 600k would be the absolute most another team would pay for him, more likely less though.

Looking at squads (for this year & loosely what I remember off the top of my head for next year)...
Broncos maybe would pay a chunk of it if they ditched Darius (for 6 or 1)
Bulldogs maybe would pay a chunk of it if they ditched Foran (for 6)
Titans have Gordon finishing so Brimson can go to FB, so maybe if Ash Taylor left (for 6)

So there are a few scenarios but all required high profile big money guys shifting around

Even less likely scenarios
Knights maybe would be desperate for a 6 and dependent on what new coach wanted from them - Pearce, Moylan & Ponga could be very dangerous even off Brailey.
Maybe Wests would be interested if we did a bit of swapsies for Reynolds (for 1) & dependent how they wanted to use Mbye next year.

And seen a few Panthers fans say they'd take him back, not sure he'd go back though

knights are the only team that makes sense and they are up to the eye balls in cap

titans definitely need to steer clear of moylan

dogs may work, broncos would be hilarious

I don't necessarily think they are good ideas, just things that seemed possible.
Figured most likely scenario would be one of the top 3 clubs gets rid of one of the guys mentioned (Darius, Foran or Taylor) and then panic spends on a 'marque player'.

Put Knights in the even more unlikely column as I couldn't see a clear way they afford him, even though I thought the fit could be quite good.
