Awesome game from Brailey. Lock him up ling term now. He will be a superstar. Looks like he has a good motor on him as well. might be able to go the whole 80 mins by the end of the year.

He showed he has what it takes. Does anyone know what length of contract he is on?

In your head, rent free
my problem was him coming off and not coming back on. his defense was superb around the ruck and he was controlling our tempo but hooked and nu killed our mojo

he should have come off just before half time and returned with 20 to go

though he improved leaps and bounds on the WCC game, his service was a lot better

There was one play close to the line where he seemed a bit confused as what to do but still got the ball away eventually. Apart from that his service was fantastic.

I haven't seen his kicking game but if it ends up matching his other skills he could be the next Cam Smith.

Off contract at the end of this season.. other clubs can talk to him now :(

Lock him up asap..

Yep we have to get this done ASAP. Even if it means we go into a semi building stage with him starting at hooker. To lock in young superstars like Val, Bird and Brailey is a step towards a very bright future.

Remember the outrage when Canterbury signed Lichaa....fun times.

To be fair and in my opinion, Lichaa would have been a different player had he stayed with us. The dogs want their hookers to defend and pass, nothing more.

he can go

Tend to agree mate. Hes not a 6 or 1 which is what hes trying to sell himself as. And with his manager pushing that its about money.

So short of moving into the 11 jersey, or if we didnt get Taumalolo, Bird becomes a mobile lock (not used as a prop like many teams have been) theres no place for him here where he will be happy. And he seems to be gettin too big for his boots already

Doubt Brailey will go anywhere. Supports the club, his dad coaches Mathews, his brother plays NYC. As long as he gets game time and knows he's in the plans then he should stick around.

What might get interesting is in a year or so and if his brother is as good or better than him ?

Solid debut by the kid, he seems very solid defensively and his service seems good. Once he gets more confident hopefully we see more attack but that will come with time.

I haven't seen his brother, do you think he could play in another position if push came to shove?

Brailey was good last night - Nu wasn't. We were coming over the top of the Broncos when that change was made; should have left Brailey on.
