I saw my first games in 1987 and started watching Rugby League regularly in 1988. So for me it's a team from 1988 to 2020. My team would definitely be able to contest a scrum, but nowhere near at the level of a 70's team.

1. Docking - I know Peachey and Barba were better players, but Docking was the #1 when I first started watching. Can't go past him.
2. Holmes
3. ET - My favourite player as a kid and probably a big reason why I'm a Sharks fan
4. McGaw
5. Mat Rogers
6. Dykes (1995-2001 version). I think people forget how good he was in that stint.
7. Green
8. Lee
9. Neave
10. Fifita
11. Wilson- The first footy card I ever got. Love a bloke who can play anywhere. Good to have a toe-poker in the squad too
12. Miller
13. Gallen

Neave is the smokey in my team. Played against him when he came back to Qld, and bought him a beer after. Probably one of the best five players I ever played with or against (I played with/against a lot of well known players and several origin/international players)

I’d like to hear a lot more about this!

Docking was a massive fave of mine in my late 20's. Awesome fullback - little guy with a huge heart and motor. Loved him.

He never played a game that was better than Barba in 2016.

The halves pairing we should have had under Chris Anderson. As a young kid I hated Kimmorley for Campbell being pushed out but the back end of his time with us was amazing

100%. I’m not knocking Matty Johns, we had a good season with him but just imagine.....IMAGINE....... the magic of Campbell alongside the leadership and control of Noddy, and if that kept Campbell happy enough to stay and not go to Penrith, that could of been the combo for years. One of our clubs biggest what ifs.

I love how you’ve sat Paul Gallen in reserve grade in favour of the likes of Nutley and Beattie.

that is an excellent Sharks team. I would maybe put Les Davidson, Danny Lee or Ben Ross in front of Marty Lang

Haha! Yeah I just have a soft spot for Lang he is there for his run it straight raw aggression and the effect he can have in lifting the rest of the team... considered Beattie and Nutley also... but settled on Lang

Burgess, you are an excellent judge. I have Barry Russell as 7 instead of Green. I'd think.sabout John Oconnor as 6 or Michael Speechley
