That might make for a more interesting (and longer) thread. The greatest team is going to generally be 14-15 of the same blokes. Favourite teams are all going to have ET and at least one Rogers, but will probably vary pretty widely after that.

If OP doesn’t mind, I’m down

Can't really fault that team Puma, a Beauty. Except I would have Barba at 1. Otherwise agree on all names/positions. I'd have Sorensons and Stevo on Bench, plus maybe Rick Bourke/Peachey to Cover backs. We have resilient halves/Hooker there. Would've loved to fit Barry Andrews on the bench but alas too many great players in that mix.

Cant fault that team except he left out our best winger from the team

Based on players I've seen live. Could have easily gone with players from the 90's like Long, Lang, Lee, Nikau etc because although I followed the club since I was 5, the 90's is when my passion for the team really grew. But just can't go past the forwards who won the comp. And I picked G.Bird because I just loved the way he played. Campbell just pips Green as halfback because 2001 was just amazing.

Reckon he played every position bar front row. I loved the bloke.

Guys, was Paul Green that good? I remember losing to Manly in major semi at SFS and so disappointed as usual.
didnt Barry Russell get Dally M halfback of the year? He might have won the whole thing. Was a tough little bugger with Speech, Gav and crew. Might be showing my age - 50

oh and I so loved Alan Wilson back in 1987. A tough and awesome player, rep calibre for sure. Such good times (but without a flag lol). I would jump back to late 80s in heartbeat
