Refusing to change the way he plays with all those first teamers out and against a Liverpool side that is flying, with the best player in the world right now is going to open you up to criticism.

The game could easily have ended up double digits and I think Spurs / Ange are lucky it didn’t. 6-3 honestly flattered them.

As for that best player in the world I am referring to, well he has 15 goals and 11 assists in 16 league games. Incredible numbers and he has become the first player ever to have double digits for goals and assists before Xmas.

He has also now entered the top 10 for both assists and goals for all time in epl (10th in assists and 8th in goals, only 3 off Henry and 5 off Lampard)

he refuses to adapt , our form is the worst of any manager spurs have had since levy and enic took over .
i know you guys rate him but this league is too much for his football .
Even with the best players in the world it wouldn't work in the prem
I personally think he is taking the piss and with a lesser team he'd get them relegated , i didn't want him to begin with but now i want him gone more than ever .
I don't get why he says he wins everywhere in the second season because at melbourne victory he wasn't successful at all and that part seems glossed over .
ive followed him closely and he tends to stay in charge and win but he moves on in a smart fashion when found out
The prem is considered the best in the world and for me his football has been well and truly found out
Theres way more to my worries with his football but as a spurs supporter i can't stand his naive/stubborn football

Also im not blind and well informed on all the goings on at tottenham and know the real root of our problems lie firmly at the foot of the chairman
The fan base doesn't help either as they think Levy is some kind of god and do nothing about it
The local spurs fans are weak as piss

Our Manager Corberan looks like he’s gone to Valencia. Apparently has signed a 2.5 year contract, just waiting on the clubs to agree on compensation. WBA want it lump sum, Valencia want to pay in instalments. £3-£4 million.

Huge blow this is and not the best Christmas present at all. I can only imagine now that we are going to free fall down the Championship ladder getting used to a new manager, whoever that may be.

Edit: Well, he’s gone. :(

On the hunt for a new Manager now. Rumors are it will come from either Mark Robbins, Steve Cooper or Igor Tudor.

Would suit Amorim’s system to a tee in one of those CAM spots funnily enough……
Yeah he would improve Utd a great deal.
Also think Arsenal, City and Spurs could do with Cunha. Not really a spot for him at Liverpool or Chelsea

Still think Utd need a big, athletic midfielder. Someone like a Gravenberch, maybe that Baleba fella from Brighton. Also a LB, that Robinson fella from Fulham goes well

I like the Ugarte/Mainoo pivot pairing, they just need more time to develop understanding, even if Mainoo’s future might lie further up the pitch in a few years, in saying that though, other options are threadbare. I was very disappointed a few years ago they didn’t follow up on that Gravenberch interest. They’re being linked with Ederson from Napoli who might just be what they need.

The absolute top priority at the moment in January is a LWB. Shaw’s injured all the time and Malacia’s nowhere near ready after being out for so long. They’re using Dalot there at the moment and its not his natural side and its not working. Looks like they’ll at least try to get Fernandez back from Benfica in January.

Liverpool’s to lose it seems now. You’d be filthy if you were Klopp wouldn’t you? The year he retires is the year Man City fall into a heap. 😂😂😂

He's always been stubborn as a mule.

He now pretty much hates Australian football for the criticism he copped during his time as the Socceroos boss.

Yes it is definitely ours to lose now, no doubt about it. We need to keep winning, can’t let it slide this year, we won’t get a better opportunity than this to win it.

We are also a big chance for CL but I would take a PL win over that.

Gotta feel for Klopp for sure, especially if we do go on to win it but hopefully they will invite him to be part of the celebrations if we do. He has played a big part in the development of the side.

Won’t be easy to see it through though. Arsenal have become a bit of a winning machine

Aaaand thats probably it for Zirkzee in a United shirt. Hooked after 32 minutes and straight up the tunnel. He’ll probably be back in Italy in January. I feel a bit bad for him, he’s not even half a season in and he’s having trouble adjusting to the Premier League and now Amorim’s new system. He’s not the style of 9 that Amorim uses and he’s not working in one of those 10 roles either. But at this point, it’s just unsustainable for him at the moment. I know there’s a very good player there but it might be a case of wrong league for him, or even might of worked for Ten Hag but not for Amorim. **** knows.

He’s not good enough for Utd mate, simple as that. Sometimes you just have to call it early with players, especially if they play up front where their deficiencies can’t be masked and they also don’t really have time to bed in because they need to be scoring or assisting goals.

Other positions will get more leeway

Nah I don’t believe that. Everyone deserves the chance to settle in. If everyone did it your way, Drogba would have been tossed by Chelsea after half a season. There’s an example I can think of off the top of my head at the moment, but I know there are more. If you outlay a fee for a player, it’s an investment. You need to back it for a reasonable time. Every new signing deserves that.

I will admit however having a new manager does skew that a little bit.

I guess it doesn’t matter what either of us think, Ruben has spoken and it looks like he’s done and I will almost always back a new manager in these cases.

Definitely Liverpool's title to lose now. Losing to Ipswich is such a typically Chelsea thing to do...

Even Stevie G himself wouldn't be able to find a way to screw it up now

Come on now man… these two don’t even belong in the same sentence. Drogba scored 16 goals in his debut season (they won the title) and also had performed very well in Ligue 1 prior to his arrival.

Zirkzee hasn’t done much in his career to justify a move to Utd as a starting striker. If you loaned him out then fair enough. But I would be happy for Utd to give him 2-3 seasons to work out he’s not good enough lol. Sounds like Amorim knows though.
