Wooloo-where??
thanks for the info johnno what issues were there?

I think there were onlly 2 issues:

1 - I think he was former board member Peter Driscoll (sp?) was not happy about insufficient information and timing thereof being passed from the club to members. DI acknowledged and took it on board.

2 - Someone was concerned that the meeting started at 7 instead of 7.30. DI explained that 1st meeting was scheduled for 7.00 and footy club for 7.30

No dramas

Yes fairly uneventful, despite the tough financial news released previously... I think just a show of trust in the current board.

Keith Ward got the highest number of votes (Irvine was unopposed), and so becomes vice-chairman.

Few faces in the crowd: Paul Gallen, Shane Flanagan, Phil Rothfield, Barry Pierce, Brad Forrest.

Damian Irvine made a fairly strong plea at the end for all Sharks members to make their voices heard in the community regarding the development, in terms of both letters/contributions in the media and the formal planning submissions process.

P.S. If anyone gets a chance, don't let the first comment here go without response:

For anyone who doesn't get the Leader, they ran a few of those comments on Page 2, including sharkafar's (I presume you don't get the Leader :)). The development story (in the development thread) with the coverage of the unanimous vote (though I saw one hand on the nay) went on the front page. Just shows again all of this stuff is worth the time.
