Uele made one good run yesterday, looked a bit like his brother.
Colquhuon is the next up prop from lower grades.
Tuku Hau Tapuha looks to be getting more consistent, and was also starting front row yesterday. More a Big Friendly Giant than a wrecking ball so far.
Both fairly strong without bringing anything game breaking.

After last year, I expected more this year. I thought the defense would be much stronger this year and we would have eliminated the dumb handling errorrs.
However, if anything, we regressed. It looks like we are wasting this year.
Pretty disappointed with this year so far.

Though he did slide the rest of the team behind the front wheels and give the engine a rev... My point is that it's a team sport and they were all ****. No point trying to skip around it with Nicho and not so much the rest of the squad.

To me it looks like he’s pulled nicho from a lot of media combined with the a very vocal narrative that it’s a team effort and not just a nicho effort. I’ve seen him steer questions away from nicho and towards the team.

Nicho isn't a 5 year old. He will be critical enough of himself. Use it as a teaching moment.

Sticky and Bellamy have chastised their players publicly before in press conferences which has often gotten the desired response from the player in subsequent games (or dropped)
However I don't think Fitz has that level of Saltiness and jadiness (yet anyway) and it's still early days at the club for him and Nicho
If Fitz actually thinks that Nicho played bad cause of other players not supporting him we are in all sorts of trouble
While we want to support Nicho as our chief play maker and face of the club he shouldn't be a protected species either.
Having said all that I don't think it needs to be said to Nicho, he is very hard on himself and aspires to always improve and be his best, might just need some guidance and constructive criticism. A spray is far from necessary, effort was still there and most weeks he one of our best.
None of this is a waste, is all apart of the building process and there will things that are rough for us fans and players to take along the way

Honestly, I like Fitz & I am willing to give him time, however, after that effort & performance yesterday, it's certainly time for him to stop giving chance after chance to our same 17 week by week & being so easy on them. It's time to drop a few of our older players & bring in a few younger guys with enthusiasm, I've seen every team do that this year except us. Move Talakai back to the 2nd row aswell. Look at what Hazelton brought to our team when he came in. Obviously though he was dropped straight away when McInness was able to get back in unfortunately. Not saying we should drop McIness however, he's one we have to keep in imo.
