Yeah, saw that. Thought this was the sort of attitude Fitz needed. Don't know if Ciraldo's spray will work, we'll all see for ourselves this weekend, but Fitz had to call a spade a spade during the presser, not skirt around the issue.

I can understand what Fitz is trying to do in scoring so many tries & get as many points as possible, we've got a 1/2 that will help us get points but look at how weak our defence has been this year because of that. Every set of 6 we let Melbourne get over 60-70mtrs gained, that is pretty disappointing. He is a very different coach to our great coach in Flanno who got us our 1st ever premiership. That year, we focused entirely on defence & hardly leaked over 10 points a game. That great team Melbourne had then aswell, we kept them too only 12 points in the GF. We conceded 54 to them this year unfortunately. Imo we need to show way more ruthfullness in defence & focus on that for a few weeks.

Flanno never got into a presser and called out the players/sprayed them. He always made excuses and had his iconic line of "we just need to flip the switch". Different styles for different coaches.

You dont need the coach to come into a presser and berate his players after a caining. They know. You ever see Bellamy or Bennett do that ****? Its what goes on behind closed doors and in training and what accountabilities the players have that matters.

They played poorly last week, but 2 length of the field tries showed the defensive effort was still there, this week they were just blown off the field. Im sure the reaction at trainings going to be a lot different

Ciraldo is a weak dog. Its one thing to say your team played ****, its another to say your players arent good enough amd youre going out to find some who are. Will end up with a squad not wanting to play for him.

Personally, I think rounds 22 and 23 are the ones that are going to define the season, not this one.

And, contrary to popular belief, I don't expect to see Fitz to make mass changes today.

Line speed of defence has been woeful and go forward has been non existent!

You could have a whole new 17 but if Fitz can’t get them to up their energy levels then there is something horribly wrong.

What worries me is that these cracks were evident last year and if anything they have gotten worse.

Not here to bag Fitz, but he needs to drop the loyalty act.

At this point, fans have every right to bag Fitz

Especially after he’s signed this whole squad and he himself has re signed for a long time
