Right, so no one at Souths are saying it. Didn't think so.

Not sure ow this is relevant to Trindall.
You don’t think there are people at Souths questioning the decision?

Because at some stage Sharks will have to make a call on Moylan.

Parts of last year, yes. Now, nope.

Hard to have so much cap space wrapped up in two 33 year old halves.

Who would you have let go to keep Reynolds?

Illias has played that well this year you think he was worth getting rid of Reynolds for?

They didn’t need to let either half go.

So who would you have let go? Reynolds isn't cheap, at least one good player would have had to be let go if they kept Reynolds.

It's how the salary cap works, sometimes tough decisions need to be made.

I’m not across souths salary cap situation but from memory it was a length of the contract dispute

they did, last year, for 2 more years

wont be a decision until next season
Yep

But there will a time where even if Moylan is playing well, they might have to say sorry but we are going to go with the younger half

Klemmer is looking like a good miss. I'm keeping tricky unless a trade involves Api, Douehi, Papalii or Utoikamanu. And there's no way they'd shift any of them.
You wouldn't want to wish that trade on Tricky...

If Moylan's playing well, that won't happen mate.

The decision comes if Moylan is playing well and wants an extension.

Say Moylan is still playing well at 6 next year, you think the club will sign him again at 34 years old with a young half ready to go?

Yep 14 months from now there may be Moylan vs Trindall/others, form vs value argument to be had. But for the duration of Moylans contract if we are in finals contention we play the better player (determined by Fitz)

Maybe
If Fitz thinks Moylan gives us best chance of success maybe another year and min wage is a great deal for us
