Same. Unbelievably physical for a teenage back.
When roosters were saying at 17 he was physically up for it I was thinking okay they reckon he will cope, there have been 17 year olds who have coped in the past. Not like he is a half or forward who is easy to run at.

I didn't realise they meant you won't know he takes and dishes contact up there with the best backs in the nrl

I'd take Gamble. He's doesn't really fill any need but doesn't look like we will get someone who does (I've kind of talked myself into we could make good use of Friz I guess).
He's more halves-y Tracey and I think don't underestimate the impact guys like that's energy has on training paddock. If you needed to play Gamble you'd be glad you had him and you know he'll try his dick off to make sure he is in the frame for selection, pushing Moylan to stay on his toes.
With 18th man likely to be activated a lot more often this year the likes of a Mann or Gamble could be very useful in that role

1 Dykes 6 Gamble 7 Trindall 9 Berrell 13 Magoulias 14 Puru is a very good Jets side and plenty of room to rotate Gamble & Trindall into 18th man as needed.
Gamble would be an upgrade on Miller. Not by much today, but I think he could develop into a pretty handy player.

He's already a pretty handy player. Bloke was destroying the Q Cup a few years ago. He was a top 4-5 player in the league back when Nicho, Grant, Fogerty and O'Sullivan were all playing in that comp.

I hear you. I'd just like to see a decent first grade sample size. He's got a few issues yet to iron out but plenty of potential for a good career.

these names are sounding so desperate. no one they will possibly offer us, can't be replaced in house. why take a dud for the hell of it?

brodie jones would be a handy back up in a 2nd row position where we're lacking numbers, but would he wana leave a bench spot to play nswcup? tuala again will be further down the pecking order than at his old club. do the players involved even get a choice on the situation?

ask for ryan rivett back

just love how the clubs not being a pushover over the situation

Albert Kelly gets a lifeline from Redcliffe. Signed with their feeder club however is an option to upgrade him if he does well.

Eddie Jones announced as the new wallabies coach and has his sights now set on

Sualli
Penisini
Big Nelson

Doesn’t affect us but rugby Australia are going to throw the bank at those 3 players.
They did it 20yrs ago and nearly killed their **** game in Australia ... hopefully they finish the job this time.

I was just running through which of our players I'd like most to see sporting a permed afro.

Connor Tracey wins by a tight margin over Cam McInnes.
