With roster spots to fill for 2023 id still like to see us pick up Kurt Falls (Panthers 5/8)
Was impressed with his cameos last season for them

Peter Peters from manly has said if turbos rehab trip to America doesn’t work they should try offload him. Debuted in 2015 and has played 121 games i think it is. Imo they need to play him in the centre’s and use him similar to how the roosters use Manu.

Hasn't played 20 games for the past four years. Also this latest injury has happened in the off season so his body is rested.

Very concerning for Manly.

Those last four years are particularly bad aren’t they
12 7 18 7
Only one decent year in there
Even Moylan has 11 8 15 24… if you exclude their two good years Moyza still wins 34 to 26
Impact on field goal obviously not compatible but by sheer amount of time off paddock plenty were ready to have Moylan turned to glue, you’d definitely have to give it serious think if Turbo can’t give you 3/4 of a season this year

Agreed. Can’t be paying a bloke 1 mil + who plays that little amount of games.

Would love nothing more than to see Manly offload Turbo for him then to go on and average over 20 games a season with his next club.

Do it Siebs

I mean if Pat Cummins can return from what he went through then maybe we should offer Turbo a 6 yr contract for $1.2m a season.

manly have an insanely average backline that could become really good if they move tommy to the centres and rueben to fullback
I'd agree that it'd actually solve a few problems for them. Garricks more than good enough to play fulllback full time, and Turbo would roam every now and again anyway. You'd do it for the games against the Talakai-toting Sharks, at the very least

Edwards is 27... If Crichton wants fullback at the Panthers that's possibly a 5 year wait
I was responding to the comment of him not being elite/being worth the cash. Whilst I agree atm, it's not a certainty that he won't reach that value.

Fair enough mate. I took it more about him choosing to stay for less.
There's some good judges backing the switch if all is to be believed, but he's definitely no certainty to be a top tier fullback.

TBF 900k on new cap probably isn't the wage of a 'top tier fullback' either
Ponga*, Tedesco, Turbo, Mitchell, Holmes*, Manu*, would all be on more.
The first three by about 400k

You'd expect, like Nicho, that he'd get a good sized bump once he's proved he's capable. Which he might or might not do.
