I think Davey is a good signing for them there, if they put Sutton at 13 and start Thompson and King at prop they can use TPJ from the bench in a few different ways.

Though that all hinges on RFM actually managing to stay injury free for an extended period so he can start with Kikau.

If Topine or Pele can finally live up to their potential that bench starts looking pretty decent.

I think one of these two are going to be a good foil for Thompson. He can play big minutes, so a 65/15 split or similar would work well.

Topine can play big minutes too, played 80 and 72 starting last season. He's more of an edge who can fill into 9 or 13 than a prop.
Unless he had bulked up a bit not sure they take him on the bench for 15-20 as a prop.

In saying that having a guy on the bench who can easily play 60 more minutes than your expecting him to might not be a bad idea with Thompson, TPJ and RFM all chance of not finishing any given game for various reasons

If these are going to be novelty games they should definitely have the 9's legend rule. Each club gets to pick one (but they have to be Fox commentators, of course)
