From memory, one of BHU's injuries earlier on in the season was from trying to put a big hit on Nelson.

Dale did, planted his own face squarely into NASs shoulder - the one time NAS actually didn't throw an elbow out. Proves he's big enough to be a weapon without being dirty.

Can't remember how BHU did his pec but it was against storm so you could be right

Yeah that's the way I remembered it but that doesn't mean it's true haha.

I have noticed over the years, enforcers are not always madmen.

The sharks through the years IMO:

Cliff Watson - never saw him play, but J. Christ, what a bad Hombre. Not mad, just mean.
Steve Kneen. Too young to really know - I think he just used to belt blokes.
Les Davidson Bundy - The Enforcer. Legend. Not a madman
Knuckles Greenhill - not a madman.
Chris Beatty - barking mad.
Bird - Barking mad.
Who have I missed?

My step dad played with him and his brother for Widness Vikings in the 80’s. The stories he’s told me about those blokes are ****ing insane. Dane once broke his jaw in the first tackle of a final, got the Frankenstein tape to hold it in place and played the whole game. Was in hospital eating through a straw for 2 weeks after the match. Absolute maniac

Fitz has a lot of faith in our young talent and doesn’t believe the answer is always new players. Our existing roster will improve next year too.

We aren’t overly active in the market but something might pop up

JWH is the bomb, I love watching him except against the sharks… the roosters current forward pack is awesome. The roosters v storm couple weeks ago was best forward pack battle I’ve watch all season, maybe couple years

Les Davidson was a genuine enforcer - everyone knew his reputation - plenty were on the receiving end of it - and blokes kept their distance from him for good reason ..

Dane was as tough as a $2 steak and played in middle - Kurt lurked out wider a lot more and even played centre on occasion .

Yep my memories were that Dane was Mr Dependable, you always got a top performance out of him. He was calm and methodical.

Kurt was more fiery and you might get a 9 out of 10 one game and then a 6 out of 10 another. If you were concerned about who was likely to take off someone's head it would have been Kurt.

He didn't play many games but Michael Wicks was as mad as they come.

To think that JWH post injury a season or so ago in some fans eyes was done and should retire or go ESL - he is critical for Roosters now but he gunna **** up at some point

If we come up against Roosters we should milk it hard against their forwards - at least we will know which refs are in uncle nicks pocket
