If we sign Lewis i think that will be exactly what our team will be next year. With townsend being promoted to half and robson dropping to bench hooker. It would be a very strong team and definetly capable of taking the premiership

Yeah I don't think best will go round again. And I think bukuya would excell out in the centres running off the likes of carney, graham or Lewis. Depends which side they each choose to play. If need be I think Gardner and Gordon can swap roles during the game. Stapleton or wright on other wing doesn't matter really but would prefer Stapleton as he has more toe than wright. That forward pack and bench though looks lethal. With the addition of Lewis (fingers crossed) definitely a top 4 side next year IMO

I would rather some quality wingers/centres. Adding Gordon & Lewis for next year won't be enough IMO to get the premiership but we would be highly competitive. Heck we are competitive this year! That side still looks very strong

If M Gordon is the only addition to our outside backs then there is no way Matt Wright will drop out of the team.

I'd give him a shot in the centres before Bukuya.

If it happened I'm sure Wright, Mills, Leutele (if contracted) etc would all get a crack, possibly with Bukuya too.

"No way Matt Wright will drop out of the team" I disagree. There is a way, through not being good enough. He's not an auto selection by any means. He's been dropped this year and only came back because Gardner was injured.

The elephant in the room...and in all your teams is that you just know that Flanagan is not only going to re-sign Morris for that bench hooker role next year but will persist with Robson at halfback. You all know it but don't want to believe it. Flano likes experience over talent. By the time he is replaced having never coached us to a grand final the average age of our team should be around 38.

And the time for Bakuya being a centre is well passed. He is now a backrower only. It's Gordon for centre to replace Best with Gards at the back for mine.

Unfortunately i think this will be the case, i really think its time for Chad to be our first choice halfback now leading into the finals plus i would have liked Peachey given a crack at first grade by now.

Thanks Tef the last line did make me chuckle.:D So we will retain Best for another 5 years hehe

I don't want Robbo losing his spot to Chad prematurely but re-signing Morris would be a poor decision. I hope Flanno comes up with a better solution or at least a better utility/hooker replacement than Morris.

Please tell me you are wrong, yes you must be... yes you must be talking about the Morris boys at Bulldogs & Saints. That's a relief.

Are you joking. Having spare cash or pending signing off a player should not determine whether we keep Morris or not. I just don't think he adds enough anymore to warrant selection. Degois need to become 80 mins or we bring up the Peach.

:lmao

You want to change our half's combination that has worked all season leading into the finals AND add a debutant in Peachy on the bench?

Re-signing Morris depends on whether or not we sign Lewis.

Also may I ask what your beef is with Robson? Every week you have some random outburst on how **** Robson is.

Carney has made it work Robson has really been covered up by Carney , it's probably to late to blood a young guy now but the sooner morris is gone the better
