Didn't Carney say the reason he was playing well was because of Robson?

What annoys me is that some are saying our half's pairing should be Townsend-Carney. I have a question, has anyone actually seen them play together? For all we know they could be a TERRIBLE half's combination. It's also a real possibility as Robson and Townsend have two completely different playing styles.

The rep power was originally meant to be used to show reliable and trustworthy posters on the forum.

However, it eventually became used for funnys so it essentially means now; more rep = funny poster.

Yes i think Townsend gives us a better chance of going deeper into the finals than Robson, how far do you reckon we'll go kicking the ball straight down the fullbacks throat or repeatedly turning runners inside to a waiting defence. Yes i know Robbo is good for getting a repeat set and is a solid defender but we need to change something in our attack as we've become fairly predictable - we have only scored 24 points in 2 weeks against teams outside the 8....

I am aware that changing your halves combo is not ideal leading into the finals but there's 7 games till then and at this rate we won't make the 8.


What i meant with Peachey was, at the start of the season i was hoping he would have made his first grade debut by round 20 - he obviously hasn't and most probably won't this season.

Id be happy with this, preferably just add a specialist winger. Huge improvement on this season.

Give Chad more than 2 games in charge and you may well see he is not vastly superior to Robbo in the creativity department. Put young Chad there and I reckon Carney feels more pressure and responsibility as well.

The fact he was able to strike up a combination with Graham when Kelly, Carney and Robson couldn't says that he is more than comfortable being a dominant controlling half. He would actually free Carney up if anything.

If Morris isn't staying on then you pick Robson there with Townsend. Otherwise, Peachey if you don't want to move Robson.
